Hmm, haven't seen any noticeable differences between 09 and 10 ranked games wise, as in slowness or anything. Real Madrid are pretty easy to beat, beat them 4-0 early on against someone quite higher ranked than I was.
I find it funny the minute Ronaldo gets the ball the player feels the necessity to do some ridiculous trick :D
 
I think the main issue I've got is because I'm level 15 with nearly 2000 points I'm playing some excellent players, btw I've only beat Real twice online, most other times I get owned!

You're level 15 on FIFA 10? Jeez, took me ages to get to 24 on 09 :D
 
It's easier, but only if you keep a good streak up, I prefer 09 in ranked because you played random people, now it seems to be only within 3-5 levels of your ranking.
 
Fed up of encountering idiots online again :( Had 3 quit cause I went 1-0 up and went 2-0 up against the current guy only for hi to go on an own goal streak at 25 mins! Currently 15-0...

Oh no...16... :( Final whistle, 25-0...what a waste of time

has anyone had problems connecting to people using same isp,ive been trying to play faded from these forums,we are both with BE but soon as he sends me a invite and i join it either says lobby is not available, and i cannot join his party and he cannot join mine.
 
On a 5 match winning streak yesterday online- got the trophy but stats have only just started being uploaded to Football World again so it's not recorded in my overall stats. :(

That thread states:

All accomplishments can be gained by playing exhibition matches, manager mode, be-a-pro, pro club championship and unranked online matches. The difficulty must be set to Semi-Pro or higher.

Does my VP have to be playing in the game for me to unlock stuff, because I thought that only stuff he did counted?

Also, if he is playing, but I am controlling the whole team, do I have to do the accomplishments with HIM, or can I unlock them using any player in the team? I hope that makes sense.

Yep you have to do the tasks with him in control - so if hes a defender he will have to block a shot on goal to get that accomplishment...

I'm bored of playing Real Madrid or Barca every time I play a ranked game. There is no variety.

For example, I was Man City, had 60+% of the posession and dominated the first half. He has 2 breaks and scores twice. I then push forward the second half and get caught at the back by 4 identical goals. Every shot from Kaka and Ronaldo went in. I ended up loosing 7-0 despite creating more chances and having more possession. If I had lost 1-0 I would have been disappointed, what an infuriating game!

I agree, seems people can only pick Real Madrid. :/

The best game I had recently was Stoke v Hull, that game was a blast!
 
I had 3 games with a mate the other night, I go Stoke everytime (obviously :p) and he went West Ham (2-0 win), Portsmouth (2-1 loss) and Sunderland (2-1 in extra time!), brilliant games!

Only once have I come across anybody with a pair of balls on a ranked match and they played Wolves vs my Stoke. I think they were a Wolves fan though since it came up with that straight away, we both readied up instantly because we knew it'd be a good game.
 
First bit of duck tape has been applied to my pad this year. FIFA rage got the better of me, leading to a half broken pad and a dent in my wall.

I cannot stand it when obviously poor players pick Real Madrid, put Ronaldo up front and just run with him and score. It's not only the most boring tactic ever, but the most rewarding for the average joe who never tries to vary their play at all. Leading to a horrible, boring game that you know you could lose in the blink of an eye despite your efforts to play well.

Seriously thinking about sticking to playing my mates and people off here. They're the only games I seem to enjoy anyway.
