The Official FIFA 12 Club(11v11)

Didn't think we had a problem lol, ok we didn't always agree with tactics and gameplay but you can't agree on everything. If we had fallen out, its the first I know of it lol.
 
Hi. im in the process of trying to organise a game with our arch enemies for thursday. u guys up for it?

Lots of bad blood between us so i think its best we express our feelings on the pitch on thursday. up for it?
 
Still don't think we should organise a game yet until team is sorted. Also not sure if I can Thursday depends on time.
 
Thought I would present myself. May be that people see me as the other bad apple :-). I am the sweeeed, a.k.a. dirty sweeed, a.k.a. rage sweeed and probably many more names hahahahaha. Hope everything goes well with both clubs! As for me, I am not going anyware. I love Fifa to much.

As for thursday I am able to play.

We have around 19 members now. Will be getting even more soon hopefully. However there are some who are inactive. Jon will be making a post about it soon, but people who are inactive will soon be kicked out. They are of course welcome to come back once they are active again. Just apply and we will let you in :)
 
Not posted for awhile thought i would let things quiet down.

The newer members i am not sure what they bring to the team xavi , morrow not played with funkymunky yet.

But i always recruited no more then 1 player at a time to see how they fitted in with the team over a number of games. Getting too many at once can effect the balance of the team and force a lot of our better players to play out of position to accommodate the newer players.

With more players it is harder to get games and more often then not will end up coming up against good teams so if we are to play with a big squad which both john and trance seem keen on, we need to make sure the other players are up to the standard of the rest of the team or imo its pointless having them just to make up the numbers.

I rather play with 4-5 good players than a bigger team with more crappy players.

But i am willing to give them a chance so long as people are pointing out there mistakes and trying to make them better players. I would do it but i dont want them to get butt hurt. But overall i am enjoying my role at the club i can jump in and out of games as i please and generally the results have been good.

A regular gk is what we really need though when we come up against bigger squads they normally have a gk which puts us at a big disadvantage. We have to play really well and create lots of chances to maybe get 1 or 2 goals yet we can defend really well limit their chances and even then they only need 1 or 2 chances to score and win the game.

I have yet to play with funkymunky. Two of the 4 recruits are active, so those two are getting a chance. The other two not so active ones may not make the cut.

We are just trying to get in as many people as possible and keep the ones that are active and fit in. Won't really get far doing that 1 at a time. Out of the 4 so far 2 are not even active anyways, so we can concentrate on the two active guys. They have both been told they need to improve vp's if they want to make the cut also.

I would also rather play with 4-5 good players than a bigger team with more crappy players. We are not looking to keep the ones that are crappy. We are just getting as many as possible and giving them a try, if they decent, active and make effort to improve their vp's if their vp's are low, then they stay, if not they go.

The aim is to have more active members so when we come online whether it be during the day or at night, there are at least 3-4 people to play with. Does not need to be 8-10. Just 3-4 at all times, or most times at least.

Won't be easy, but we can try :D

Oh and yes we definitely need a GK. If anyone is interested, or anyone knows of someone that is GK and wants to join, then please let us know. At least if you get that position you know it's your most if not all the time ;)
 
As TNA said, its fine have 4-5 good players but how often are the 4-5 players on together? not a lot especially this week. We cant all be on at the same time but if we have say 10 active members, the chances of regular football is more likely vs 4-5 people.

For the past week i think i have only played with doomer once.

once we get sufficient amount of active players, we will go back to just looking for 1 player max per week.

as people said we have 4 new recruits with two of them being active so not too bad, We may need one more adition or see if the other 2 new guys can become more active and improve their game because idealy, we need 4 new active members.
 
Played quite a few games today. Won most of them. The two new active guys seem to be doing okay. I see an improvement from when they joined, so they are trying.

I had a look, there are about 5 players in the squad that have not been active in 3+ weeks. They will be named by Jon soon and have 2 weeks to get active again or at least have a chat with one of us and explain when they can become active.

Tomorrow is last day of the league. Seems we are very likely to finish in top 10. Might have been top 5 if cheating Russians did not come back last week. They came and cheated their way to the top. Last game we played with them their keeper did a save where he superman dived backwards 10 feet to make a save :rolleyes:

Seems we will need 1 more season to get more active members and gel with them. After that, as long as the cheating Russians are banned, winning league will become a possibility. But as mention to you guys, main priority is having fun, then winning league will come on its own if possible.

I had lots of fun today. Played CDM a lot and even scored one from there :D
