How long have u played clubs in xbox? How often did u play clubs before?

I agree with a lot thats being said, But if you watch some of the better teams when we play them, They knock the ball about sometimes 1 touch thay'll happily knock it around the 18 yard box and if nothing they'll go back to the halfway line and start again to open up our defence.

Us on the other hand as pickle says we either have to get lucky or so happen to be in the right place at the right time for the fenesse shot.

We try skill moves in Midfield "really no need" or we try to take on one more person with 99% of the time leaves us without the ball and being counter attacked and not to mention no one stay's in position everyone bombs forward in hope of scoring thus again leaving us open for counter attacks.

Were no bad by any means were second in the league, but if we done the basics right IE stayed in formation played simple passes to keep hold of t he ball, we could be miles ahead in the league and everyone would be enjoyin the game without people talking about leaving.

Ok now guys those who are talking about leaving, I seem to remember this happening last time and countless times before that, instead of jumping ship when we lose a 1 in 5/6 games, how about you use your experience and help improve the ones that are making the mistakes atleast you have tried and if they still continue to play that way then we could take a closer look and decide if they fit the team or not..

people leaving? despite us being 2nd in division 1? TBH let them leave whoever that is. We are freaking 2nd. 2ND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in DIVISION 1 and yet some wanna leave as if we lose every single game!

Some are forgetting that this is not a HARDCORE club. this is a CASUAL CLUB! and for a CASUAL club with quite a large amount of players are 2nd in divions 1, let me repeat that in larger fonts:

2ND IN DIVISION 1 people threatening to leave? i really dont understand some but each to their own. we are NOT doing that badly for pete's sakes. we only lost maybe 1 every 10 games at average. just look at our overall record. we have won something like 80+ games and only lost about 20. That is A MASSIVE improvement over the original ocuk/baguio city club.

by all means if people dont like our playing style then fair play but if they are leaving because we play crap then let me remind them that we are 2ND IN DIVISION 1

If we was a terrible club we would be be in the conference league lol:D:D

i will be back on tonight and get some wins again for us

From my understanding phil has been trying to help people and they have not been listening. The impression i got anyways.

People can blame the formation all they want but its by far the most simple formation to play. With 4 at the back formations for example you need at least one midfielder playing a very defensive role not getting forward at all and jsut sat in front of the back 4. You also need the rest of the midfield to help out the defence.

When we tried play 4 at the back we was 2-0 up the midfield wasn't holding its postion or keeping the ball well enough and we ended up going 3-2 down and only a late goal saved us from defeat.

In my experience team who play 4 at the back often just charge forward and leave them selfs very open at the back.

The only other 2 formation i can see working in this club are 4 3 3 with the dm just sat deep protecting the back 4 and the 2 cms getitng up and down the pitch helping both attack and defence. Or 4231 with 2 dms sat in midfield controlling the game 3 cams and a st.

So as i said any change in formation is going to need disciplined midfielders who dont just charge forward every chance they get. Cause you dont have the protection of the 5 just sat at the back.

Cheers for that. I agree there is room for improvement mate. Me and the other managers are going to become more strict im afraid as it seems there are some who dont stay in position and to be fair , that is one of the mimimum requirements of being part of the ocuk club, ie to be a team player and to stay in position.

I and the other managers are NOT asking people to be epic at this game, all we are asking are two simple things:

  1. Play as a team player(so no hogging the ball, doing skills etc etc, pass pass pass)
  2. Stay in position, if your a LB, stay at the left side of the defence, not at left wing upfront!

Simple things lads, SIMPLE things and if anyone is caught abusing any of the two points, well its "bye bye" for u.

Am i and other managers asking too much? if we are then maybe the people who think we are unfair with the two basic rules should tell me and the managers now and leave.

Dont worry DoomER, me and the other managers will sort this out mate so tell phil and stok to hang in their. we are not ignoring yours and peoples views and opinions
 
Well that was an interesting night last night!

Gimb failed to listen to advice and warning that were made to him last friday and as a result i and the other managers decided its time he left the club.

When he did leave, we started playing 10x better. beating teams for fun. What a difference one bad player makes in this game!

So as you can all see lads, me and the other managers aint messing around. we are willing to boot players for constantly ignoring peoples advices and breaking two of the simple rules i have applied(play as a team and stay in position).

We are not trying to scare you but you must realize that we also do not want terrible immature people in this club either. We are willing to help beginners improve there game but they themselves must also be willing to improve because if they are not, its bye bye im afraid.

who the hell invited him into the club? he added me on origin and asking me if he wanna join and i never replied. wtf? even if he was legit, we cant go and start recruiting and adding 10 new guys, we have already added two over the pas week.

You can still stay in the club, no need to remove u unless we all of a sudden have 30 members lol(max u can have in teh club is 30)
 
Yea we should see if we can improve a bit. i think we just need to tweak our style of play a little. we dont wanna pass pass pass all the time though as i realized the best way we play is when we play a high tempo game of football
 
Yea pickle was awsome last night! me i was terrible upfront as i lacked goals but did create a few though! think im bets sitting just behind the front man! I cant lead the line myself as i lack the goals LOL.

Yea we could give 433 a go. what kind of variation of 433? 3 DM's? or two DM's and one CAM? I think the latter is best suited
 
sup all. im trying to organise a rival match with matty/gimbo's team for this thursday. waiting to see if they will accept. maybe they are too scared to face us ;)

i think u be surprised how well we will/can perform on a rival match. i expect all of us to be fired up and ready to produce the goods on thursday!

I also think we have too many chiefs at times and not enough indians. With the pandas it wasn't a democracy it was a dictatorship. With this club is seems every one is having there say on what we should and shouldn't be doing and it will lead to problems and falling outs. If one person is saying one thing and another person is saying something different things get confused and who do you end up listening too.

Agreed, i think from now on only me and the other managers has a say on things in regards to tactics, formations, where people play etc. Me and other managers will still listen to suggestions though, we dont want to completely ignore you guys advice.

But so far its good, we are in a healthy state, there hasnt been any fallouts since matty and gimbo so all is well. We are doing great personaly compared to the old ocuk club. we win slightly more then we lose compared to last time when we lost most of the time. We have also dealt with fallouts better and as a result, only 2 people have fallen out with us.

I have also managed to keep u DOOMer so that must be a plus point too LOL.

There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism in a team but some people don't take kindly to it or cant handle it. Everyone makes mistakes in a games its when people are making the same mistakes constantly it needs to be pointed out to them imo or they will keep making the same mistakes.

All i want is the team to improve as a whole when we win its not because of 1 or 2 players who get the goals its because of the whole team doing there job. Thats when i find the game most fun when the team is playing well together win lose or draw.

As trance says i am happy overall with the team we have a good group of team players who are willing to play different positions and do a job for the team. We will get better and evolve over time, i am confident next season we can challenge for the league so long as we improve our consistency.

well said mate. we are in a god place right now mentally as we dont have any bad blood inside our club. everyone seems happy. no issues have arised and at times, we play some great football. just lack consistancy thats all
 
i diddnt play clubs at all last night. was watching walking dead. i migth pop on tonight after the arsenal game. definetly be on tomorrow night for our rival match
