Just finished my first season with this squad and... won the quad :p

A bit too easy tbh, I'll see if I can get another job in this game for a different kind of challenge.

 
syke - Nice list of players. :) New rule though. :D First and last names of players (if applicable) and the clubs they start at in FM08. I cannot find some of these players because half the world has a similar name. :p
 
Guys, I recently left my job at Man City and after searching for a new challenge I finally got a new job at Portsmouth!

Now my assistant left Man City when I resigned, he said he wanted to link up with me when I got a new job, I want him by my side but I can't remember his name:( Any ideas how I could find such info? Man Citys history doesn't list him as leaving.
 
My copy arrived today :)

Will be able to continue with Forest now. Top of the League at the end of the demo, and have beaten several Premiership clubs (Bolton and Sunderland) in the league cup. I do need a new keeper. Paul Smith isn't bad but I lost 2 keepers in the space of a week to injury, recalled one from loan, and he ended up out for 3 months in his last game on loan!!!

Crikey, in my game Hull shelled out £1.1m for him!

Did you try Mark Little at right back? he's been fantastic for me all season.
 
Started a new fulham game, and sold most of the team and got a few key players, to win 10/11 games, and to have 9 points deducted because of going into administration :(.
 
my game is going quite well, since I took over Arsenal

Played 5 league games, unbeaten but conceeding 1 goal nearly every game.

And in the champs league quals beat Malmo 9-0 agg. Scored 28 goals and conceaded 4 which is quite nice :)

Adebayor is amazing, well so is Bendtner with Silva and Hleb whipping balls over. Also defence is quite sturdy. Got Akinfeev coming in December when his contract is up but I have to pay CKSA £6m which is a steal I hope. Also regarding fullbacks I signed Angulo from HSV (id signed him for them) for RB backup and a Regen from Villareal who my scouts say could be better than Clichy, so thats nice :)

Almost got Bojan his contract was expired but chose to join Juve over me. Still got a massive choice of strikers mind, with Adebayor and Eduardo been my starting two lately, but every time I put Bendtner in he is superb, Van Persie in games ive started him has been quite disappointing, and Vela is a cup player.

Quite enjoying the game again after frustration with HSV, keeping a eye on how they are doing and its not good currently near the bottom of the Bundesliga and got a very hard group again in the champs league, they also got knocked out of German Cup by a non-league side, glad I got out when I did heh.

Just check the Man City transfer screens. It should be in there.

He was valued at £1m to start, but I didn't play him enough, and his value plummeted. He was costing too much in wages, so took the reduced offer.

As for Mark Little, he was injured a fair bit for me when I had him, and when Blackburn offered £1m and 25% sell on fee I accepted. Henry was my first choice, with Foley filling in when he was injured.
 
Found my assistant, cheers! He didn't wanna link up with me in the end though, *******! He was rubbish anyway...!

I signed a player for 7m and he can't get a work permit AFTER he signed for me, whats that all about?! I thought the transfer didn't go ahead unless they got a WP? Will he ever get one?

Annoying!
