I know i'm with blackburn and bought a few cheeky Brazilians and they can't play for me or the reserves until they have a work permit which takes around 2000 days. I've tried to set up a feeder club in Belgium hoping that they can go on loan out there for a year to get an EU work permit but I got Mansfield instead! Anyone know how to get around this problem? I could wait five years but that means that these potential superstars won't have played a game in all that time.

Try offering him another contract straight away, ive done this a few times and its worked.

check if you have a feeder club in belgium, spain etc and send him on loan if not just keep trying to offer him a new contract
 
Yeah. The site is getting hammered. Suppose the fact its out late means the ones needing a fix will download it tonight/early morning and when I get up it'll be OK to download.
 
Any ideas on what this patch fixes?

I've had to use FM Modifier as a temp fix for my game to give myself a longer contract at Swansea.

I signed at the start and was told they have a three year plan to be an established Championship side.

I won League 1, Johnstone's paint trophy and the FAW Cup in my first season. And reached at the very least the rounds they expected in the Carling/FA Cups if not one further.

Second season I came second in the Championship and again won the FAW Cup. And same again, reached the expected rounds of the FA Cup and Carling Cup.

Just finished 14th in the Premiership, when I was touted for relegation and was just expected to fight bravely against relegation. I met all expected cup targets, and again won the FAW Cup.

Up until around May of that year the board were completely behind me, I was exceeding their three year plan... I looked to be solid Premiership side rather than a Championship one.

Suddenly... It's the end of May and they're irrate, reports appear that I'm not going to get a new contract... I check their confidence and everything is going great... Except the fact that they say I'm not meeting their Championship expectations... :-/

As a result I found myself fired... Half of the staff walked out of their jobs in protest, and nearly the entire squad are deeply upset (which was a nice touch I might add).

I've gone back (luckily I didn't save) and have given myself an extra year on my contract with FM Modifier...
 
Havent got the patch yet, does it solve anything?

Summer Update on my season. Looking forward to my first season in the Premiership I have strengthened, well, I hope I have with the signings of Peter Ramage on a free from Newcastle and signed David Wheater permanently from 'Boro after a successful loan. Added Christian Vieri on a 1 year contract as an experienced alternative for the front line, in case Keogh and Eastwood cannot cut the mustard. Also signed a french winger, aged 24 so getting on a bit, but stats were sensational, and would give Hamilinen some competition on the left hand side. However, his name escapes me (have a thing for forgetting french names) begins with an M thats all I can remember.

If no-one can guess it, will add it tonight.

Also, does anyone know why when the board announced we get £29m in Premiership TV rights my balance only shows £3m? Is this payment spread out through the season? If so, I am gutted, as was only given £7m to spend on new recruits this summer.

It just goes into the club, not your transfer budget. Its like when the club pay out to the shareholders it doesn't come out of your transfer budget.

It obviously hasnt. At the end of the Promotion winning season, and before the end of season refresh I had a transfer kitty of £500,000 and a club balance of £1.9m and no loans to repay.

Then the refresh happened, and it was announced that I was getting a fat cheque for tv revenue, I was happy, as I thought I would get a fair bit to strengthen the squad, yet my transfer kitty was set to £7m, but the overall balance only to £3m. So basically, it looks as if Steve Morgan has pocketed £26.5m in tv revenue, and is happy for me to spend £7m and put us in the red.
 
So in my game with Forest things are going well. Top of League 1, Lost in both the FA Cup and League Cup to Blackburn. Should get promotion to the Championship as I'm 10 points clear.

The bad news is I've had to sell Mika Aaritalo to Reading for £1.3m + 20% sell on fee (Not bad profit for 6 months work and at a cost of 40k) So now I have 1.5m to spend in the summer. Need to off load some of my free signings that haven't worked like Jody Morris, but I hope to win the Championship!

Interestingly I've left it on Holiday whilst at work today to see what happens!!
 
Fan's didn't seem to bothered. IIRC he has only started 3 games but about 17 sub apps. He isn't happy but is now injured, so in the reserves and has handed in a transfer request.

I guess your speaking from personal experience as a Leeds fan ;)

Had a few good free transfers. Romero a DM and Malcom Christie has about 20 goals this season.
 
started as unemployed (cos i like a challenge), no league teams will employ me even tho i applied for the Nigeria managers job and got it , now 9 wins out of 9 internationally and still even Leaugue 2 clubs wont sign me GRRRRRRRRRRRR
