Squads all ready for season 4:
Apart from Amauri who i cant sell for love nor money, and wont go out on loan, all of my first teamers who i want to retire have agreed to goto one of my affiliates, Blackburn for the season. Incidently, Blackburn are now a top 4 team in my game, due to the steady stream of quality, aged, players ive been sending their way.
My stream lined 22 man squad:
GK: Akinfeev / Cudicini.
DL: Chiellini / Pasqual.
DC: Barzagli / Tuia.
DC: Bonera / Criscito.
DR: Cassani / Alves.
DM: Pirlo / Mascherano.
MC: Gatusso / Gourcuff.
MC: Fabregas / Rosina
AMC: Kaka / VanDerVaart.
ST: Pato / Gilardino.
ST: Bojan / Di Gennaro.
With Gatusso getting replaced with the already bought and loaned out Merida at the end of season 4, and my promicing U21 MC Simone D'Urso being my replacement for Pirlo. Im pretty well set long term.
Still have £50m of my transfer budget left. Im only using £1.5m of my £2.1m wage budget.
I have 5 promicing youngsters who my coaches think are gonna become first teamers in time.
Looking quite good.
My only problem is that im playing almost £7m a year for my affiliates, with £6m of that going two a US and Japanese team.
The problem is, that for me to get another one of either at a hopefully lower yearly fee, i'd have to drop one or the other for a while.

Scouting knowledge for that area of the world, helpful if you don't have a good knowledge of that country/league. If it is a big club (ie a foreign giant) then you can benefit commercially, say in Japan or big US clubs. You'll get fans of that club aware of you and so they buy merchandise from you, I think.
Plus it is a good way to get youth players out on loan to gain experience. Sometimes, depending on the deal your club arranged, you can get first choice on their players. So a rival of your affilliate club makes a bid of £x milllion for the player. If you match the bid, the club has to accept your bid as well, leaving the player concerned to choose who he signs for, if at all.

Havnt played on the game for a while now.
Still out of a job though, after 2 years trying to get the 'right' one. Anything really not in the premiership. Ideally I want an International place but it looks like its not going to happen

Managed to sign some keeper last night for Cambridge in the Conference who my scouts reckon in Premier League quality!! He has great stats, we shall see. Can't remember his name currently.
I have a couple of players who look promising, will sign but require work permits. Is there anyway to get them one? Offering more money etc? (No Chance of a feeder club at Cambridge)

Unless you can get an affiliate club that you can loan players out too, then short of appealing, your not gonna be able to sign them..

Arse! I've appeaded several times, and always fail. Both have caps, but only a handful. I already have 2 feeder clubs, Cambridge City and Mildenhall, both just down the road.
I can of course edit their nationalities but thats cheating!

Forgot how hard it is to start with a blue square premier side again... Started with my beloved Altrincham and got relegated after my first season Can't seem to get the players to play well even though some of them have reasonable stats.

9th in my first season. My house mate took 3-4 season to get promotion with Histon. I believe he is in League 1 now though, but finding it hard going.

i'm 3rd in the championship with southampton, can't seem to buy ANYONE... no one in the league wants to join me! - even though i'm 2 points off top spot and just beat man utd in the FA Cup!! - i have 8 mil to spend - anyone wanna recommend some good players for me?

Jonathan Evans from Man Utd? And has anyone bought Breno in your game yet? You might be able to get him. He's 18/19 at the beginning of the game I think.

Barnsley, third season in the Premiership but this is my cheat game. (Gave the club 2Bn balance at the begining of the first season, still hard to get players to come but you don't have to worry about money).
Got a bit bored of playing the standard game so tinkered about with some of the modifier programs to help expand my knowledge of players. Mainly for when I play the network games with my mates
In one of my normal games I started with Chelsea and quit for Roma for a new challenge. They already had David Luiz there so that's how I discovered him
