It's great when you land your first big transfer a few seasons into the game... I've managed to bag Frank Sinclair... even though he is about 38ish in my game he's still better than most of the defenders I can get

Well my local side in FM would probably be Haverfordwest... and since they're already in the highest Welsh league it wouldn't be that fun... Swansea are fun as I actually support them (along with United)... lower leagues I tend to go for Newport County.

Other than those, it's whomever I take a fancy too

He's a fabulous talent, he's got a minimum release clause of around £60mil I think.

I normally make a point of buying him in any footie game, whether it be Season Mode in Fifa or FM

Absolutely. Get him and Ronaldo on the wings for Utd (or somewhere else if you've stolen Ronaldo off us!) and you've got two of the three best wingers in FM playing for you. You could then top off with Messi in AMC.

That or have them rotating around.

Nah he's not doing too bad really, he's a bit wreckless with his challenges though and does get caught out a fair bit going for balls and just getting left behind.

I do actually play with a AMR / AMC / AML behind Drogba for my Chelsea side, so Ronaldo, Silva and Messi would be great additions... Theres £150m well spent anyway

You can add Rosina to that list.
His PA is only 5 points off those 3 iirc, and he does amazing for me.
He can tackle as well. Ive played him AML, AMR, AMC, MC, ML & MR, and he never fails to impress.
Last season i played him as the left most player in my AMC trio. Him, along with Gourcuff & Aguero in AMC, scored 60 goals between them, and amounted around the same in assists!

Is Rosina his last name? Will look him up when I'm back in Salford.

Yep. Well SI call it the Premier Division as they haven't got the rights. EA out bid them all the time due to bigger pockets. But I do change it to Premiership. Was just interested to see what others called it.

my save game corrupted without a backup,( i know, foolish)

not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of last_saved_game. is the error

I know it's caused by turning the PC off at the wall and upon googling it many people have problems, just there's no fix that I can find

You could try opening the game file in Notepad++ or something and seeing if you can see anything wrong with the first line? Perhaps load FM first and load a quick game and save that so you can see what a well formed token looks like and try and fix your current saved game?

The patch should let you patch a digital download with a retail patch.

Thats what I asumed as when you check the update option ingame it just goes to SI and recognises that there is an update but unable to find it. So downloaded it from elsewhere and it gave me grief.

I believe that page is broken. SI said it was a while ago as it offers no link.
