Can anyone tell me, how can you come 1st on every heat of the drag racing then finish

2nd overall at the end?

Happened to me last night online

Yeah that happened to me with a few friends. I got first in all heats but one where I was pipped by a few hundredths, and yet I came joint second to the guy who was last most of the time

I originally thought it took an average of all your heat times and fastest wins, but that made me think again.

It happens in other modes too.. I have a feeling that all the green copy testers where to busy making stuff to give them a headstart to bother keeping an eyeout for bugs/issues.

Edit: pressed sumbit too early :o

Drifting lastnight, i lost on points on every race and was also last over the line, all but the last track counted as a win.

In some of the timed events you won't get first if you don't have a clean lap and someone else does.
Clean laps always get placed in front of faster laps that involve a collision/off circuit.

Really liking this game.

The in-car view is brilliant and adds a whole new dimension to the game. I used to solely use over car views in racing games because I just couldn't get on with bonnet/bumper cams but the cockpit view is brilliant. I just bought an MR2 Turbo to race in a D class pre-2000 car series and I made it look exactly like my MR2 that I sold 2 months ago; it even has the same wheels. Oh how I miss that car :(

Starting to get a little tired of the single player game, Level 42 without a single online race yet... I should try and get an invite to one of the OcUK games, they sound like fun. :)

So which view is everyone using?
I think I'm sticking with in-car no dashboard view. Seem to drive better like this.
I like being able to see my car as the car models look so darn good, but I need all the help I can get, which in car view seems to give me.

Anyone else have a collection of cars which are complete crap to drive, and yet so stupid they're fun? Somehow ended up with an 800bhp Saleen pickup, 1069bhp Dodge Ram, 1045bhp Mercedes ML63, and now a 991bhp MX5 (253mph down the Mulsanne straight!)...all great to mess around in :p

Wish there were 2 more settings, something between medium and hard, and something above hard :o Neither Medium or hard feels quite right depending on the race :l
