***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

1:28.920, now 1643rd place. That's over 6 seconds off the top ten, with everyone using the same setup.

150k tho, might come in handy.

Public online racing is diabolical. I only finished one race because the only other player quit, and he rammed me off the track at the start line!

Some hilbbilly hick call dubsie or some thing rammed me off. I had been leading a four lap race I kept checking behind and it was making me lose concentration and messing up corners. He caught upto me on about the third corner on the final lap. I messed up and went wide and hit the grass a little, he had done the same and was along side me. I was getting back on the road and he decided to smash into the side of me. My car ends up pointing the wrong direction and is too damaged to finish. This is my second time online, the first time was when F3 came out. Talk about put you off for life.

i HATE track racing, the only online racing i do is drifting..

However i always seemed to get voted out for being too good or something. All its takes is 'Kick player XXX' and everyone just pushes Y.

I only ventured in public lobbies when the added they RWD ones the other day.

I raced in about 5 different Class C RWD lobbies, and all the racing was excellent, sure the odd minor bump every now and again, but to be honest, everyone near the front was being very vigilant..

Top results all around...

Mind you, if you want a really top quality experience, and want uber-clean/fair racing, you really want to do what has always been necessary, and join in on all the more dedicated forum events accross the web...

Problem is most people play like a game. In real life you try to avoid damaging your car as it costs you real money to repair. Most accidents are because some one has tried to out brake and you've managed to hold your line to fend them off. But they just barge into you. I do my best not to hit anyone, if I do its usually because of lag and the car pops up from no where.

I race public quite a lot, and I must say my experience has been pretty favourable, maybe 1 in 25 races is full of griefers like that.

Pretty good odds for a console game. ;)

True, I've only had one or two bad races online so far. Though I had one guy votekick me because I blocked him from overtaking on the main straight

I've been sort of enjoying the RWD Circuit that was recently added. There's a lot of people in there who take it far too seriously though. Some american guy couldn't cope with the fact that it wasn't NASCAR the other night and kept saying things like high left when trying to overtake me as he believed I should pull over to let him pass and not take the racing line. He then had the bare faced cheek to get his mates to kick me off.

Pass legitimately and I'm fine with it, if you get a run on me down the straight than I'll let them go.

Had a different night tonight, couple of close races in the C class hopper with some good people, one guy in particular though was very odd, if you went to overtake him, he'd swing in my path, knocking me or bumping me, had a few transitions in tsukuba with the lead changing between the 2 of us on every corner, if he ended up on top, I was right on his tail, if I was infront, he'd whack me.

Weirdly if he pushed me off he had the "courtesy" to stop and wait, was like being in the film "Duel"!

Either way, he left sending me a friend request and me just
