***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

Just still loving Forza3, awesome game. I am in the 4th year and running in the R3 championships. The single player is really good, but I am needingn to really play hard to win the R3 races. In the end I had to pimp out a bugatti to enure I had the jump at the race start and hope to last ! So I think ive reached my level of enjoyment - R3! A top tip for you all, 'cause i never knew until recently, if you change the car you are in when deciding the next season racing to play - it changes the events!! - no one told me!! LOL

but now for me the real enjoyment is in the mutiplayer. In forza 2 i just didnt bother, but i am simply loving racing those Mk2 golf F200's around the circuits! I have a nice 205HP tune for the mk2 golf and a lary livery and I cant enough. There something great about racing the lower class cars over the super cars!! I never thought I would favour F class over say A!
If only I could tune ! just simply not have the time to get into that dark art.
I have made the leap from DNF to getting a podium. Still i can be a couple of seconds of the fastest lap sometimes but hey mostly 3rd fastest for 3rd place.

braking is where I need to improve, I think i am a little to light on the break as the 4th place man soon gets bigger in my mirrors! I try to race as clean as possible and i must stop trying to hard on launch!

Just started racing online in the oval lobbies which i have to put my hands up and say was thinking it was going to be boring as hell going round in circles but i was so wrong as it's great fun :)

Yes! They are great, had my first couple of races today. Got my Cole Trickle livery for the Chevy. Even though its just an oval some of the tracks have really tricky lines where one of the corner tightens or something, catching a lot of people out resulting in huge high speed spins where you've just gotta close your eyes and hope you come out the other side. :D
 
I cant play anymore....

For some reason the game hangs my xbox shortly after loading. Sometimes I can get into the Quick Race area before it hangs, the rest of the time it will hang when I try to enter the Career mode. I also noticed it now says 'Saving Data' for about 20 secs after the initial loading screen.

Any ideas? I cant still play Colin Mcrae for hours so I doubt its a problem with the Xbox. If its a corrupt save then I think i'll just give up and trade the game, can't face spending hours building up again.
 
I get the same thing too now, and after a quick look on the official forum, it seems quite a few are getting it. Its not a hardware problem anyway and if you leave it for a few minutes, it will load.

I got this earlier in the week. Also had a couple of unexplained lockups since.

Wasn't sure if it was XBL or a game issue.
 
Finally got around to uploading some videos to youtube, there is abit of a theme but massive accidents seem to be the norm when it comes to Clio "cup" single make racing. So much fun and always great racing no matter what the outcome.

Not worried about the rolling its part of the fun, clip a curb abit too hard or at the wrong angle and it can all go pear shaped. The cage is part of the spec for the series,we have tried to get it as close to the Clio Cup GB as we can parts/tune wise however I tend to have the car set-up quite stiff which can be a slight hinderance when pushing hard.

FWIW mine is hdd installed and I don't have this issue, hence the suggestion.

Just a wee video I caught tonight of my 370Z dancing round the final corner on Tsukuba short, camera angles sadly weren't the best but it felt good and looked good at the time, so I thought why not, even nicer that it was ina crowd and no collisions :)
