Forza Motorsport 3 is a game for people who love cars not just for their looks, but also for the way they drive. It's probably due to the extremely analague nature of the wheel, it's far quicker to move your fingers and thumbs a dozen millimetres than it is to push the pedal down to the floor or turn the wheel 180 degrees.
 
The Communication Workers Union has confirmed that nationwide postal strikes will begin on Thursday 22 October.

The union said it had no choice but to announce a strike after the Royal Mail rejected its latest set of proposals.

On the first day, mail centre staff and network drivers will strike. On Friday 23 October it will be delivery and collection staff.

So no chance then of getting it on release day, unless they post the game on Monday it wont be getting to our doors till the week after.
 
My retailer has offered UKMail for extra so I'll be going with that.

Helpful because of the strike but I am paying a bit more.

Hmm also got said email from that retailer. Can't help but thinking that with the current state of the post office, even if it's shipped tomorrow, it'll be weeks before it arrives!
 
Ive got the LE pre-ordered, if it doesnt come on release date due to postal strikes ill be trawling old fashion games shops in a hope they have it... I simply cannot wait an extra couple of days to get this game. :(

Tempted to buy an Elite as well, my xbox hasnt got hdmi out, its doing 1080p over component, but, its an old box and knowing my luck it will fail about 15mins into FM3. :(

The Elite's gone Jasper yet? If not I wouldn't bother...

I went for an Arcade and used my old HDD. It's a lot quieter and runs cooler. PSU is about half the size too.
