But if you do it that way, there is just a blank space you can't use. Patch your ROM and you can use it.

Myself, I've got used to having it there and don't mind

I like how it and the launcher bar at the bottom sandwich the screen.

Once more I have confirmed that bad signal eats the life out of your battery...

Spend yestreday at home and not work place. so same amount of emails, browsing (if not more) games phone calls etc and after 14,5hours battery was down to around 48%

screen was on for around 1hour 50mins

pretty good I would say.
after spending a day(8hours) at work battery is down to 35-40%max even after no browsing, games...

This is why i switched network, worse 3g but better battery

I.also think it looks worse with the gap.
I cba using roms, too much hassle

Yeah, I have a tiny mark. I don't see it unless I really look for it, but it's the first time I can recall that I've scratched a screen. Brando Anti Glare ordered and on it's way!

It is weird because neither my SGII or Nexus S have ever scratched in the months I have had them.

I didn't know you could polish the scratches out but I assume this is only for light surface ones and not one that I can feel with my nail?

some say toothpaste is good (have a look on google) got a picture of it?

Any idea why I can't now add files into the internal memory? I've been adding pictures, ringtones etc into the various folders and now it won't do it, just hangs and says not responding. I've tried rebooting PC and GN without success. Phone is working OK just need to copy across some more stuff !

i had this issue from day one! wont work on my main pc, just the laptop. It must be a driver issue. have you had other samsung phones installed?

No, never owned a Sumsung before. It was working fine, I've copied across various files and all I did was copy across a photo which was still named DSCxxxxx from the camera, typed in the rename and hit enter to change it. Now it won't work properly. PC is new build only built on 26 Nov so no idea :mad:

Anyone had this problem? Loading the SwiftkeyX 10p app today on the wife's SII and it authorizes payment ok and then shows "Starting Download......" and that is as far as it goes. Seems stuck on the download. Is it because of overcrowded server, is it because it won't accept the app on the SII or some other reason? Thanks. I have had no problem with any app downloads before either on my GNex or her SII.

strange but had the exact same issue, did you try rebooting the pc and the phone? mine works ok on my laptop and work pc, but wont work on my shuttle, i get the same issues, non responding when i try and rename folders or copy stuff. grrrrrrrrrr

Just been and tried it on my sisters laptop...same issue. If I try to drag and drop a photo into the pictures or any folder it just sits there hanging and after a Windows 7 message then doesn't do anything. It seems slow now too in opening up the directory of internal memory to get to the folders. I rang Vodafone who said we can swap it at the door via the courier but we got no stock unless I wanted a white one ?????? or have something else. Means I'll lose all I done so far but no point in having a phone which you can't add things to the memory. I've not finished adding contact photos when it stopped working properly. :mad:

i don't think its faulty mate. as i said it does it on my pc, have you posted on xda? seen others have had the issue
