Arrrg, spent too long running customs ROMS now i have the Nexus, how do you:
disable/enable GPS?
turn the torch on?
does this phone have a status LED like my old Desire?

Had my first freeze and crash today. Was using WhatsApp and Messaging app when it froze and I got strange red artifacts.

Couldn't turn the phone off or anything, thankfully it turned itself off. I then pulled the battery and booted it up and it was all fine again.

Don't know what caused it but hopefully it was just a glitch.

disable GPS in the settings, or do what i do and add a widget for all my controls

what torch? :) you will have to look on the market for that
(i blew my led on my desire using the torch)

yes it does have led status, lots of people using liteflow to change colours too

If you need a torch in an emergency then go to camera, video, switch on flash and start recording. You will get the video light to use as a torch.

I've had a few crashes. One similar to yours, with artifacting on the screen. Hoping they're just bugs.

This has happened to me three times now.

It has only happened when wifi has been on, and my desk clock has been activated. I've not noticed any artefacts due to the fact I've been sleeping. This has caused my alarm to fail and thus I've been late to work, on 3 occasions in the past month. Not too impressive.

I'm contemplating returning my phone this afternoon....

It honestly doesnt have the option? Settings > Wi-Fi (on/off), Bluetooth (on/off), Data Usage....more....Airplane mode, tethering NFC, Android Beam, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Networks.

Also purchased that 10p HD Widget app but thats missing it. Hmmmm

You want the power control widget (go apps, then widgets):

galaxynexus30.jpg

•Toggle WiFi
•Toggle Bluetooth
•Toggle GPS
•Toggle autosync
•Change brightness level/behavior

I know, but it gets rid of the google search bar, gives my 5 rows of icons per homescreen and scrollable widgets like calendar, emails, fb etc
