***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

I had a little play on one of these a few days ago in the O2 shop (as I'm planning on it being my next phone). However, I noticed when scrolling through the app drawer it seemed a little "jerky" - is this common? Just to make sure it wasn't my imagination, I played with the iphone 4 sitting next to it, and (sadly :p) the iphone did seem completely smooth by comparison.

My HTC Desire used to do this a bit, but switching to launcher pro cured that. Is it the same in this case?

I'm suffering from a charging problem.
When plugged into a PC (have tried 3 different) it charges fine. When plugged into the wall it wont charge unless the phone is turned off. Even turning it on whilst charging from the wall stops it charging.
The phone simply will not charge from the wall when turned on....

thats an odd one.

if it was me i would do a battery pull, and then go find a spare charger, BB or htc ones use that connection and try that.

Considering selling my desire HD when I get it back from HTC, getting a new unit under warranty. So could possibly get about £250 for it to put towards a nexus.
Is the price likely to drop anytime and any ideas what's the best deal to get the handset? I'm still tied in for 12months with orange.
thanks

As in desk clock or one that kicks in when the charger is connected etc?

Kaloer Clock is one of the best IMO, free with plenty of customisation and absolutely stunning on an AMOLED screen.

Mine was doing this a lot, so I've removed LightFlow. Kinda pointless if the damn thing is always flashing :(

When I have the original N1, I bought TrackBall Pro, but that only works on ROM's patched to allow it, so I don't think I can use it yet.

I worked out why it was doing it.

I found that if i had been having a text conversation and left the messaging screen open when the phone locked itself then the LED would blink. unlocking and going back into the messaging screen would stop it. Its as if it blinks because it doesnt know if you have actually read the text beacuse you were already on the screen

hands up if anyone understood any of that.

Just downloaded and installed it. The contact list bug has certainly been sorted. Not sure about any of the others yet.

If anyone does find any bugs in Handcent please drop me a PM and I'll pass the details to the Handcent engineer. They seem pretty keen and quick to get things resolved for ICS. As I said before they are testing Version 4 too.
