***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

Im currently rocking the old HTC Google Nexus one, was looking at getting this as my next phone! I was (or thought) due an upgrade today from Vodafone (i had checked my profile page multiple times and the date for my upgrade had always been today! 02/02/12) but after logging on today my upgrade date has been moved to the 12th of may :(.

But I will get that sorted hopefully, in the mean time, my Google Nexus One does not play .wma files or Free Lossless audio files, only .mp3's. Does the GN suffer from this aswell?

Sorry TorN but do not know answer to your question. Suggest you try Googling it? That is a heartfelt suggestion and I am not suggesting the sincerity of your question.

On a topic that keeps coming up here, have you guys noticed that Google Wallet keeps rolling along in the US?.....seems as if semi official support on ATT (member of competing Isis project) for GWallet has been spotted. We know Sprint getting GNex soon and will support NFC/Google Wallet.

really cant decied wither or not to pick this up tomorrow or wait to get a galaxy s3.

Theres the big mobile phone confrence later this month so would It be worth waiting to see what else comes out?

There will be no Galaxy S 3 at that conference.

Well 4.0.4 has drop in the US, hopefully we wouldn't have to wait too long before the europe release.

Changes to 4.0.4

- Better 3G/HSPD switching
- New Power Menu.
- Faster boot up time
- Auto-brightness update.
- Multitouch fix
- Autorotate is faster

Comments on the LTE 4.0.4:

•Noticeably Faster
•Android OS bug fixed (in battery stats)
•Long-pressing on a blank spot on the last page of app tray bug is gone
•New Radios. 3G/4G switching MUCH better. Don't even notice it changing.
•Improved signal strength
•New Power Menu. New from 4.0.2, familiar to those who have used a stock 4.0.3 rom. Screenshot here
•PRIMELA03 Bootloader
•Faster boot up time
•Auto-brightness Functionality changed. Smooth transition
•Holding down camera button now refocuses again
•Multitouch issue seems resolved. Screenshot here
•Autorotate is faster
•Browser performance noticeably improved
•Recent apps list opens faster
•Miscellaneous camera UI changes
•Increased volume
•Keyboard fixes
•Updated News & Weather app UI

Only from Verizon and no sign of it on the offical build links.

Apparently some new NFC files too which hopefully means Google Wallet will be officially supported soon. Guess that'll be 4.1 or something.

4.0.4 certainly wets my appetite though.
