Here's how you can force the update:

Took me at least a dozen attempts!

Second attempt :D

Good times to be honest, been waiting patiently for this! Will update with impressions later.

*EDIT* Can't get my Facebook contacts to sync, every time I click Facebook on the add account option it just goes back to the screen showing the accounts already synced and doesn't add the Facebook account to list, any clue how to resolve? *EDIT* Realised we won't be able to do this for now at least! Ah Well...

So far everything does seem that good bit smoother which is nice, apps especially are no longer stuttery which is a god send! Sky Sports Score Centre is a prime example of this and is now *usable* although LiveScore is much better anyways.

Liking the update so far.

Got the update, Noticed the signal indicator has changed, music app changed to play music, the screen brightness is a good improvement, the camera focus is also good. All in all a good update

Yeah I have to agree, the camera focus is very good, nice and quick now. Also the brightness is sorted...well thank god for that! :D

Also the volume is massively improved for audio playback, something that was sorely needed.

A few questions for the GN owners :)

1. How well does this phone play 1080P 10+GB MKV films and also when streaming to a 1080 HD TV?
2. How is the battery life under heavy, low and medium usage (e.g. heavy usage easily lasts a day? Or barely 7 hours?)? Post "screen on" time info as well please
3. What is the support for custom ROMs etc. like? I presume being a nexus device, it is very easy to root and flash custom ROMs? Is there a lot of choice as well?

TIA :)

What's changed on the auto brightness?
As I currently force my phone to 15% brightness for batteries sake.
Is it feasible to turn it back on to auto without killing the battery?

& its surprising that a lot of people are noting new icons and version numbers on google apps, as they were pushed out weeks ago as a normal app update...?

Autobrightness no long does it incrementally over a period, sometimes it would decide to go so bright but then go brighter a bit later...seems to now go straight to the correct setting now.

Battery life seems fine so far on auto...

@Tweaker, the power menu is when you hold in the power button, just looks different, with Power Off > Airplane Mode > Sound Off/Vibrate/Sound On Icons.

What is the new power menu?

Holding down the power button:

Ok, could someone at least comment on this please (using DICE player or any other 3rd party players) :p

Works fine on dice player, I uploaded a video demonstrating this over MHL months ago.

Don't know about 10gb+ files though, never tried nor do I have one I think.
