Yup... just spent the last few days in Milan and was pretty useful. Showed me the weather, a translation screen, etc. Too bad I didn't have data there - just wifi in the hotels...

who you with network wise? im with vodafone and they do a £3 per day to have all you UK contract abroad, which i think is pretty good, you just use your phone as normal, no restrictions or limits your contract is as it is in the UK
 
So just got mine :)

One thing, when getting a text message, it only shows a notification in the status bar? Not on the actual message app, for example a "1" showing it, I'd prefer that then looking at the status bar every time if you know what I mean.

Also, not happy with the volume on this, volume boost isn't compatible with Jelly Bean yet :(

Lots of apps which allow pop up notifications.

You can also change the launcher to get what you want on the icons. Launcherpro does what you want.

GiffGaff. Might consider a new phone with EE in a few months time, depending on what comes out. If Google only upgrade their phones a little like Apple done 4S to 5, I'll be a little ticked off!
