i'm not sure if it was part of 4.1.2 or if the app updated today, but play store is now 3.9.16

i can now remove apps i previously installed and havent used for years from my apps--> all

long press on one you dont want, highlight all the others you dont want and press the no entry sign at the top to remove them all.

dose the OTA update only work over Wifi or will it work on 3G?

i also got it, i had to clear data of google framework services a couple of times before check for updates...

@fredfint, no it will show up over wifi or 3g - it doesnt matter

I did a check for updates when I got in from work tonight when connected to wifi and update available, 15.1mb download and all good.

I could not wait for the OTA so I got the factory image and used fastboot to flash and root it. Have not noticed anything different yet.

Yep mine is on 3.8.17, I dont know what i was on before the 4.1.2 update so didnt know it was an update for Play but spaceman says he is now on Play version 3.9.16 after the 4.1.2 update. ?

Play store, menu, settings and scroll to the bottom or phone settings, apps sub menu and go to "Google play store"

Really loving that MMS messages now preview in notifications. Not sure if that was new with 4.1 or 4.1.2 but hey!

Although it wasn't there earlier, I checked for updates at about 5 pm this evening, and there it was... 4.1.2 that is!

After installing it automatically 'optimised' 33 apps, and when I checked Play it was showing version 3.9.16 which was good.

I haven't really had a chance to give it a good 'work out' yet though!

Browser performance the best I have seen on any Android device now.

~1550ms on Sunspider 0.9.1 and that's at stock.

Imagine if you overclocked the OMAP 4460 to it's intended 1.5Ghz. Don't particularly feel like rooting my phone though.
