So I figured out how to get this sorted...

I get a new contract on O2 with the nexus from phones4u and cancel my existing contract next month when it expires.

I can then either get a refund on the preorder or ask them to send me a galaxy note which I may well do as I wouldn't mind that and it's only another £50 more so I can manage that no problem.

Of course now I told you all about my find I bet they will all be sold out before I arrive :p
 
Think I will go for a hands on on the 21st if I bother going to town, hopefully then they will be non exclusive and enough people will have it to be able to do a review

Still reluctant on the 16gb, if 32 was out for before 2012 id wait, allthe hd recording and music and apps as well as the os... Bit worrying
 
It doesn't look like a major issue, black text looks much better. Unless your a 'sharpness > blacks/contrast' type of person it'll be fine.

Check out the Sony LT26i thread if you want to see a 340 ppi 4.3" screen. (even with that spy shot text just pops out, can't wait for the Samsung 300+ppi real stripe AMOLED :p)
 
Are these likely to all sell out on launch day? Surely there won't be an iPhone style feeding frenzy at launch? Will I be able to walk into an O2 store on the 24th and pick one up as an upgrade on my contract?

A dedicated search button is a waste i like how it is on the galaxyS II where by holding the menu button for half a second opens up the quick search.
 
They said they are getting them this week but who knows what time they get deliveries in the morning.

I wouldn't go out my way to go to phones4u tomorrow. Sure if your going to be by anyway go and check but otherwise there is nothing more annoying than going in and seeing the display but the phones not being there yet!
