Hmmm, right you are. I foolishly thought it was a permanent drop in price rather than a temporary sale.
£639 is still a good price for what you get to be honest, pair that with a £75 Google Play credit which you can offload and the Pixel Stand.
I thought the Stand is included with the CPW offer and the £75 credit is the Google offer?
It isn't a bad price, I just don't know that it's worth the extra money compared to a Pixel 2.
Does anyone have any issues involving the lock screen/display?
- randomly when waking the phone it produces a white flash before then proceeding to the lock screen
- occasionally when waking the phone and I have a WhatsApp notification, I can't touch the message/open the keyboard. Totally unresponsive.

That white flash used to happen to me on the 2XL when unlocking and locking the phone, I think the Sept,Oct or Nov security patch fixed it though. Wouldn't be surprised if Google introduced it back in lol.

My Pixel Stand is driving me nuts.
It worked fine, day one. Now, the alarm never goes off, the sunrise alarm doesn't work, if the alarm does go off, I can't interact with it on the stand (I have to pick up the phone, unlock it and then make my alarm selection of snooze / dismiss)

The flashing screen pre/post lock seems to be LGs panels rather than software.
Anyone know of there's a way to filter topics in the Discover pane? So far I've hidden stories about every single individual football team and football player and football manager, but nowhere can you just click "stop showing me ******* football".

Top right of the pane, Three dot menu, customise discover, under sports select "view all settings"
If that doesn't turn them off I have no idea!
See there's a dilemma there as well!
According to Google, the only two sports are Football and Cricket, so you can off Sports entirely, but you can't select anything specific except football teams and cricket teams. If I turn off sport, I miss out on F1 stuff.

That's how mine is set up. Google for you, nothing works as intended. 
I don't know but I recorded my kids Christmas Nativity yesterday 30 mins worth and the sound was perfect.
Oddly the video was broken into 3 parts though.
Did you shoot in 4K? I think it limits the files to 10 minutes on 4K, I could be wrong though.
