not played much this weekend apart from doing quests in causal so still sitting around the 15 rank. i still hate patron warrior.

I've been steadily learning the deck and play it when I have Warrior quests. It's clearly the best deck in the game when piloted correctly. It will be interesting to see how the deck is countered with TGT. Joust/Reveal might work as the deck as quite a low curve but when you can pull out wins like this then maybe not

I don't have Boom so I usually run something else (again usually depending on the meta)

He's not as necessary as people make out. The list I was using if you're interested:

IThaurassin I think needs nerfing to the start of your turn.

EmpT is fine. He's legendary, he's useless if your hand is empty and usually he functions as a magnet for 5 damage more than anything else.

EmpT is fine. He's legendary, he's useless if your hand is empty and usually he functions as a magnet for 5 damage more than anything else.

legendarys do get nerfed. if you play Empt and your hand is empty then your clearly using him in the wrong deck.

get them. some of the best cards in the game. sludge especially. he's an incredible taunt.

harrison is situational, could be replaced with an ooze to combat weapons but you dont get the card draw.

lay on hands im still not convinced on, if i need to use if for heal then ive pretty much lost the game, likewise with the card draw.

solem vigil might be a good replacement especially as it costs less the more minions that has died.

tirion is a tough one to find a replacement to, hes very strong for a paladin card. sunwalker is the closest replacement for a divine sheilded taunt.

I have Tirion, made him yesterday so starved on dust now, otherwise i'd get DR.OP aswell.

Problem with Sludge and Loatheb is spending money on the game which is something I've been trying not to do.

You can pay to unlock the solo adventures with in-game gold... so no need to spend real world money

(it's quite a lot of in-game gold to do it all but certainly achievable)

Yeah it's like 700g per wing, unfortunately I'm poor, all my gold goes straight to arena where I tend to end around 3-3 lol.

Maybe I'll eventually buy them but for now just looking for anything that could be a reasonable replacement.

Tried a grim patron warrior last night, i had a lot of cards by midgame but sometimes not the ones i needed and i get beat cos i couldnt combat players when they start getting into yeti territory and then by time i have somit they have me down to near death and about 4 decent things on the board which are hard to clear next turn. Trump makes it look so easy. Im sure he cherry picks matches for his vids to show things work.

its a hard deck to play but if you can spend enough time learning the deck then its a very good deck and a deck which is easy for people to get to legend with.

im not a fan of warrior so tend not to play patron. i cant play that deck. ive played it a few times and destroyed the opponents but ive also lost a lot more.

im liking the paladin deck im using at the moment. and against patron if you can get an equality in hand then your sorted.

I know, I have the first wing Naxx but I only play a few games a day at best, sometimes I won't play for weeks at a time as i just don't find a deck that interests me so I'm not sure about spending £30 just for a few cards.

grind for the gold to buy the wings. i think thats your only way but the cards mentioned are key in some decks.

any deck that runs a secret - mad scientist

any deck - sludge belcher

counter to any spell based otk deck - loatheb

perfect companion to knife juggler - haunted creeper.

Bought both exp packs, yes they are expensive yes you go through them very quick but i like the game and some cards are handy for certain decks and the only way to get some cards. Bit upset they cost so much but they did entertain me so meh. If they were half the price i think then it would be good value vs enjoyment and time played. But if ur not one for buying games all the time or havent for awhile then meh if u play hearthstone and enjoy it and fancy some new cards and a nice boss experience then go for it.

If you target those few games a day around your quests, and mulligan any 40-gold quests to try and get 60 (or sometimes 100) gold quests... you should easily be able to amass 700 gold in around 1 week... that's what I've been doing

Yeah, still 1 expansion a week if I'm lucky with rerolling quests, ends up around 2 months for both expansions, guess I don't have a choice though.

Goddamit!!! Having a really bad run the last few days... down from 11.1 stars to 12.0

Keep running into face hunters (of course) but also a lot of muster/quartermaster paladins lately and just don't seem to be getting the cards when I need them...

When I'm on a bad run I walk away. When it's not your day, it's not your day and frustration can build very quickly.

After getting rank 4 the month before last I'm just plodding this season, doing my dailies, and floating around rank 16. Think I'll pick up when TGT hits; I've also preordered the 50 packs.
