The Official Hearthstone : Heroes of Warcraft Thread

Played a couple of games at lunchtime... still sitting right on the border or rank 10 - really want to get a little run going so I can get to 10.3 or 10.4 (or even 10.2!) stars and not risk falling back down to rank 11 every game - too nerve-wracking!!!

That dirty Dr.Boom is still showing up in 90% of games regardless of the deck type I come up against... He's just so awkward to deal with sometimes (although when you've got Unleash in hand it can sometimes tip the game in your favour in a few rare situations)

ladder anxiety, i get that at any rank. sometimes i get to 15 + 4 and then stop playing becuase i dont want to lose stars hahaha.

dr.boom is why most decks tend to run a bgh now too.

Yeah its an odd situation where everyone runs Boom because he is so good, and as a result everyone also runs at least 1 BGH to counter Boom.

Some of my ranked games are one or lost depending on whether I have BGH in my hand when my opponent plays Boom, and vice versa.

Had a frustrating game last night where I drew BGH the turn after I had to clear my opponents Boom with my whole board. But I can't be too mad, cos I've won plenty of games that way too :p.

i wouldnt spend any dust until the new expansion is out. might be better cards you need to craft. just ride it out this month.
 
Good advice, cheers - though I think the chances of me making it to 1600 dust before the expansion is very slim anyway... (though you never know, perhaps I'll get lucky and get some golden cards to DE at the end of the month from the new rewards)
 
I discussed the same with Lodjik the other day concerning dust. Ive got 2k dust and keeping it till after GT is out.

I got 4k in gold nearly also, shame I spent a lot of it on bloody Arena :(

Lodjik you got like 14k or something?

Well, from that run I ended up getting a Mogor which I dusted, then did another 1 just now and managed 7 wins, got my dust back and a Golden Bolvar, is it worth keeping him or should I dust and save for TGT or make Dr.Boom?
 
Personally I don't really care about golden cards, so with legendaries if it happens to be a legendary I wanted anyway I'd keep it (why not) but if it isn't one I want then hell yeah dust it and put it towards a legendary of your choice later

(probably wait for the TGT legendaries to come out in case there's a *must-have* one)

Paladin is going to be played more and new card Enter the Coliseum buffs Bolvar so I would wait and see as he may be playable again.

Before this weekend I would have agreed with you but there is no Loatheb, Boom, Thaurissan this time round. Varian Wrynn and The Mistcaller are the only 2 legendaries anyone seems to be interested in and neither of them are Neutral cards.

Ok so today Im up to rank 14. Why is it towards the end of the month I seem to get better? (not that Im saying 14 is any good lol).

Presumably the faf get relegated to the back of the ranks?
