Living the dream.... 12-2 with a rogue in Arena without a weapon or deadly poison in sight! Only the second arena run with a rogue and I've never played them in constructed so I'm not sure how I did that! Went from 5-2 to 12-2 with a number of nail biters resolved by top decks...

Prizes for 12 wins are pretty good. Gold rare armoursmith, legendary Cenarius, 260 gold and pack... Just wish the legendary was one of the better ones!
 
If you log into your Battle net account then in the beta profile page tick hearthstone... done and done....

Or go to the hearthstone website and click "Sign up for beta" and follow the links.
 
Bought 15 packs yesterday just to bolster what I had available after beating the bots.

Got 1 legendary. Of all the Legendaries to get gold... I get Millhouse Manastorm :( A fairly generic low level legendary that is unplayable against Mages who seem to be the only character I get put up against!

Jumped in for my free arena run as a Priest. Probably not a very well optimised deck but the first game was hilarious. I ended up putting down a Demolisher (1/4 for 3 with 2 damage to a random enemy at the start of your turn). A little buffing and I ended up drawing out several powerful 'return to hand' cards from the Rogue. Really annoyed that they Conceded in the end. The next turn I was about to turn the already buffed 2/10 Demolisher into a 16/2 monster and 1 shot him :D

Hehe nice one, funny games to be had in arena :D.

How much was the 15 packs? I was thinking of spending £10-£15 as a Xmas present to myself, as I should get some decent playtime over the break.

£14. It's a slightly better deal than the 7 packs for £7 while still being a reasonable price just to start you off. I did get a few half decent Hunter cards which is what I was gonna play. Got an Explosive Trap and Freeze Trap along with a gold Eaglehorn Bow which looks pretty cool.
 
I still got to say Warlock has been my fav to play. Very aggresive playstyle which I do enjoy. Although not once have I had warlock come up as an arena choice :(

I like the idea of pallys but I really do suck using them. As far as I can tell also Mages are seriously OP, all them AoE spells and really strong single spells are annoying to come up against :(

Not another account! I'm guessing you have to wait an age to hopefully get a key, judging by this thread?

From watching a lot of videos I think all the classes definitely have their strong points, though there are some silly/crazy things you can get away with in some cases.

In one of the latest TB videos a Priest he played against used a pretty interesting play - first turn shieldbearer then coin into whatever that power-word spell is that makes attack equal to health... A 4-4 taunt out very early on which proved hard to deal with.

Actually as that game went on the guy further buffed that same shieldbearer until it was something crazy like an 8-12, at which point TB triumphantly used a faceless manipulator to clone it and shouted "AHA!!!!"... Then on the very next turn the Priest played his own faceless manipulator ending up with 2 8-12 shieldbearers :rolleyes:
