The Official Hearthstone : Heroes of Warcraft Thread

It does however seem that almost everyone I face is totally decked out with legendary cards and completed decks.

Can people really be that bad at the game where they're stuck at this rank with such good decks?

They're not stuck. They're conceding every other game to farm low ranks for ranked victories towards their golden hero portraits.

Well that's silly, they should make some sort of prevention system for that.

It shouldn't be hard to implement system that would ban you for 20 minutes if you concede on less than turn 5 more than twice in a day.

Once I've met a guy at rank 23 with a deck full of legendary dragons, it was ridiculous. Was 2 health from finishing him off and then he brings out some card that makes his cards cost 1 and brings out 7 leg dragons in 1 turn with 1 of them bringing his hp back.

I suppose once you get to lower rank the ground gets more evenly matched?

Also, what's changing in that incoming update everyone was talking about?

just because you have good cards doesn't make you a good player or have a good deck...

maybe he is just trying a new style of deck out and its not doing well

You asked for advice. We gave you some and you ignored it. Oh well!

Nobody mentioned tavern though and playing ranked with just basic cards without even any expansions was quite boring and not very effective either :).

I can see why they're making those changes as trying to get into this game right now without putting £60 upfront is impossible and I can see how that could put a lot of new players off.

On the other hand I did learn quite a lot from adventures and from playing around and building different decks so I suppose I had my moneys worth.

+ you get to keep the cards and play them on the wild ladder. :D

All is not lost.

It'll be a while before wild = unplayable

Can't wait to see what cards they nerf hope it's druid cards as I rarely play druid so will be able to swap them out of for the new expansion cards.

You've picked a good time to start anyway. New and old players will be on more of an equal footing then ever before. We'll know more very soon :)

Revealed cards don't look very exciting to me... a late game zombie chow... a worse gnomish inventor... and a card that is very situational so will not be reliably good.

Anyone else theory building with C'Thun.

Turn 9 twisting nether/brawl/doomsayer

Turn 10 C'Thun

Turn 11 win!

Pally is getting buffed as well with 5 mana Stand against Darkness 5 1/1 recruits.

Corrupted healbot + silence. 5 mana 6-6
