Strange, I did not need to do that, and mine only has 1 crack.
on a plus, less then 24hours after calling HP UPS has collected the touchpad, but i doubt ill get it back before new year now.
 
hi guys, this is really embarassing but how do you set up the official HP AC adapter?! I have just bought a touchstone and have obviously forgotten how to do it.

I have a UK plug adapter and the cylinder which has a USB port on it, but I can't attach the two! What am I doing wrong?!

unscrew adaptor from the opposite end to the USB then put the UK adaptor on :)
 
I made same mistake for a couple of mins.
The product is delivered with an adapter already on the cylinder, so you'll have to remove that first, before attaching the correct one :)
 
Must be talking about Android 3.5 if he's reinstalled it. Still on 2.1 here - haven't read about any particularly exciting changes to warrant upgrade. Camera still broken in 3.5 isn't it?
Did you read that some or all of the changes in 3.5 were made due to them being fixed for ICS, so they thought they may as well move the fixes over to GB. Or something like that anyway.
 
do you guys run antivirus software on your tablets?
i've gone and bought a tablet and the guy was trying to sell me norton, i told him no thanks as i know norton on pc is rubbish.
 
tbh don't understand how you can get a virus on webos, people really have that much time !

I bought mine off somebody locally when he decided it was for him.

paid more than firesale price but got Touchstone with it.

used it everyday since buying it, love it :D
 
Just reinstalled Web OS and Cyanogen Mod Alpha 3.5 on there before giving it to my sister. She's used an Android phone before but I have a feeling she may not know what to do if it bugs out. Anyone know how I can set the default OS on boot as Web OS rather than Android?
 
Anyone know how to charge a TP without the main charger? I lost mine and tried a combination of my computer and USB hub, can't remember what I did exactly but it came on and showed me it was charging (albeit at a very slow rate) in Govnah. I accidentally let it run out of juice and tried the same thing most of the day but it won't turn on - just shows the plug into charger symbol. Wish my Touch Stone would hurry up!

EDIT - Date for TS has changed yet again. 3rd of Jan - just admit defeat and give me my money back.

EDIT - Touch Stones are out of stock :(
