Why not use the native email app?
What program do people use to convert MKV to something the touchpad can cope with?
the cpu changes clockspeed all the time i think, drops down to 192mhz on core 1, and 2nd one on mine is often off
touchplayer on preware installed for me earlier today, not tried it yet, will do so now![]()
how do you look at the CPU usage/frequency?
You can use mkv2vob, it doesn't just convert to vob...![]()

As for using hotmail, just use the built in email app.
Answered my question indirectly.
Now is the web performance as troublesome as some seem to be reporting? Or is it just this issue with the Hotmail website?

I use ripbot. (what I use for bd rips as well)
Point it to the film, set the res and audio. Set it to 2pass with a 1gig file size limit. The 2920xm in my laptop tears through films faster than my desktop.
On a side note, I'm loving the touchstone. I originally had it on my desk but now have the worlds biggest discounted alarm clock on my bedside with it constantly in exhibition mode. Should I feel bored, said alarm clock is now a web browser.![]()
i have yet to find a website that it doesnt work perfectly on, and ive spent a few hours on this now!
I get this too, it's a real shame. The web browser needs far more spit and polish. As it's the gateway to most things on the touchpad I hope hp sort it out in an update.I found it did not work on the BBC sport page that showed the updating football ticker. The page would constantly do a full reload, which made it a bit useless.
