This is good news! Just called the sales team but couldn't get an answer.

About to order now :D

Good stuff!

It seems they add on insurance ( 1 month free ) then a fee afterwords. Remeber to call up and cancel it when you recieve the phone.

Bit of a nightmare really as i didn't want insurance :D

Yeah I noticed that too, and also some sort of phone helpline @ £2.99 a month. Still a cracking deal, but will be definitely phoning to cancel after the month!

How long has your credit check taken?

I've ordered mine from Vodafone yesterday, haven't heard a sniff back yet. Last thing the email said was they were doing a credit check.

£30 a month, 600 mins, unltd txts, 1gb data - free phone + £90 with Quidco.

I got an email from Topcashback this morning though saying Vodafone were offering £130 cashback ! ah well.

It's wise to have some kind of insurance policy, You never know.

Just have a look at Begbie's post after a night out

I've had several contract phones never need insurance for them....

Saying that this one will be my downfall!
But the bundeld £8pm is abit steep, I might have a shop around surely could get it half that price.

That's NOT so good about the credit check. My hopes of having this by tomorrow have been quashed!

Mobile insurance on it's own is a massive con.

Depends if you use it.
My friend definitely got his moneys worth with his iPhone insurance.

Had about 4 or 5 new ones last year!

Like I said, I've managed to be carefull with my phones the last few years but if I had insurance then I'd probably have claimed quite a few times to make sure it was worth it! ;)

Hmm really? I might do that with my Halifax account then!

Found this nice review of the Desire :) look how fast it is the video :o

Just had a call from mobiles...

They contacted orange, and there is a problem with my name. So i told her how to spell it, and also added in my middle name to see if that was the problem.

Still didn't work. I apparently have to look at the name on my orange bill ( which is in the bin ) and tell her sometime tomorrow before my order can be processed.

GUTTED.

Aw mate that's rubbish. Hopefully you'll get it before the end of the week though. I still haven't heard from them and my name isn't that difficult to spell. Has anybody else on here got any experience with Mobiles? I'm becoming skeptical now.
