Reading Begbie's thread made me realise how easy it is to lose a £280 bit of plastic.

Heads up if you find something under £8 though.

No, but I went direct to Vodafone and I still haven't had a peep out of them either.
 
8mins until the 4pm cut off... haven't heard from them. Not looking good.

Was meant to have quite a few things arriving tomorrow, but it's looking like thursday. I'm not even going to be in on thursday! :(
 
I have to find out what name is on my Orange bill. I throw all my bills in the bin so that will be hard.


Will need to phone orange tomorrow and ask what name im under ( sounds silly ) and then phone Mobiles and tell them so they can sort it out.


If not im just going to leave it for now and change company in oct when my contract is up.


BTW - The number they called me on is 01923801111 - I guess you could try that and see if you get through.

I ordered from mobiles just after 4pm, the credit check took only a few mins and I received it 10am the next day (after several update txts) Very happy with the service although it wasn't an upgrade.
You can cancel the cpw insurance and gadget help easy online too.

I don't think they want to do business with Scottish people. I've tried calling them several times, no answer, also emailed them at 2pm and I've yet to get a reply. Not particularly happy about that. :mad:

Taken 2+hrs to do a credit check? Are they Disclosing me at the same time?!

I got mine from them when the Desire first came out and didnt have any problems with them at all.

After using LeeDroid for about a day now it's pretty damn good and battery life and all hardware features are also very good and no bugs found.

Call quality seems average though which is no different to the stock Desire Sense ROMs, I notice it is quite better on DeFrost for example though it should be because of the sound mods included by RichardTrip.

I'll be flashing back to DeFrost tonight, need to go watch inception shortly though :p

Anyone know how to get this 'places' thing thats part of the new google navigation update? Cant find it anywhere!?
 
What is the GPS navigation like on this phone, is it anything like Nokia maps? Also do you have to pay for full turn-by-tun navigation?

I'm just about to buy this phone through the mobiles.co.uk Orange deal but this is the only thing stopping me. I use my Nokia 5800 as a sat-nav all the time and its very good at it just hope this is equal/better :)
