*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Cool. Guess I hadn't noticed it before as I've been on DeFrost for a while now and never did a complete wipe between updates.

Yeah, i don't know the reason behind it, and it does not always do it on a new custom ROM. Im using OpenDesire, and on every update i do a full wipe/flash and have not had it happen in quite a while

Back on stock FroYo (OpenDesire 2.3a) with supercircle battery mod. I missed the stock look and feel.

I'm tempted to try and write an app that allows you to add new contacts into your Gmail contacts into a chosen group since stock Android doesn't allow group choosing for new contacts like HTC Contacts does in SenseUI.

Oh and 480p 30fps video recording should hopefully be coming with the 720p update in OD - if Adam uses the Nexus variation of 720p then that's excellent news.

So I had some crap luck a couple of weeks ago when I stood on my Desire. I've finally got it back and it seems to have Android 2.1 installed - does anyone else have this?

Have I missed the release?

I have removed defrost and installed LeeDroid with sense today, I love launcher pro so that has gone on there, but I really missed the HTC:

Dialer (t9 entry for search etc)
Contacts (central location for all info ie photos etc)
Browser (kind of, prefer the way it reroutes text when zoomed in)

The LeeDroid rom gives me the best of the rest though, ie car dock mode, voice search, circlemod.

I'm currently a happy bunny with this rom :)

Oh, and hopefully the battery life will be better! it was bloomin awful on Defrost 2.4d, take it off charge at 7.45 and the phone would power off by 6pm, with the same usage as stock that would last until the next morning!

I was weirded out when I used a HTC Magic belonging to my uncle, I had to wonder if the phone was broken it was so slow in comparison heh!

Well my battery is still doing good on leedroid, 16 hours into a charge, 30 mins of MP3 last night, browsing on/off all day, rearranging my widgets/home screen, setting up of corporate mail, downloading 3 apps and six (short) phonecalls and I still have 60% of battery life left.

Finally got mine sorted, but it turns out they don't have any stock in.

Been told they should have more in by the end of next week ( Fingers crossed )

Just a heads-up for n1blo

Mine has been just over 8 hours since not charged.

Barely used, a few texts here and there, checked facebook once or twice and I am down to 66%.
To me that seems rubbish, or is that average?
