Htc haven't released froyo officially...a stock desire has 2.1 installed
Why should I swap from defrost to open desire? I'm very confident that it won't give me better battery life.
ah - for some reason I though it was still 1.6 on the desire.

I was weirded out when I used a HTC Magic belonging to my uncle, I had to wonder if the phone was broken it was so slow in comparison heh!
Well my battery is still doing good on leedroid, 16 hours into a charge, 30 mins of MP3 last night, browsing on/off all day, rearranging my widgets/home screen, setting up of corporate mail, downloading 3 apps and six (short) phonecalls and I still have 60% of battery life left.
do you have push enabled on exchange activesync?
