Not fanboyish at all ;)

Finally got mine sorted, but it turns out they don't have any stock in.

Been told they should have more in by the end of next week ( Fingers crossed )

Just a heads-up for n1blo

What a joke. Misleading website is misleading.
How did you get through to them?

I'm just going to cancel, had a better deal with Retensions anyway, just grew impatient!

Can anyone help me out?

I have been away for awhile so im not too up to date with the latest ROMs etc lol.

Im still running Pays Sparta 1.3 with trips uvoc kernal.

My phone likes to restart everytime I seem to push it a little, like scrolling down in the facebook app really fast, or typing really fast in handcent... its asif it cant handle it!

I have uninstalled SetCPU and the problem has stayed.

What ROM and kernal is everyone using now then?

Cheers

Right, seriously, what the hell is going on. OpenDesire 2.3a battery life is excellent, super excellent. But, as soon as I install the supercircle battery it goes **** up.

I took the phone off charge at 6am. By 6:30pm I had 20% left. I've had two phone calls and sent two txts. Nothing else other than Yr.No widget and BBC news widget! :(

I've just put LeeDroid on and all in all it seems good, problem I have at the moment is with widgets. There not loading back up on reboot, stuff on the phone seem ok but anying installed on the SD is replaced by some place holder text.

If I move it back to the phone and reboot the widget re-appears, any idea's ?

Its a class 4 SD card so I need a 5 or 10 ?

It's a limitation of FroYo AP2SD, when the phone boots, the FAT partition has to be mounted. With FroYo AP2SD, the apps are stored on the FAT partition, so they can't load.

You have the move any applications with widgets you want to internal storage, or any applications that are required at boot, also need to be moved to internal storage.

That's why most people prefer the old school way of doing AP2SD (on a Ext3 partition of the SDCard that doesn't need mounting in the way a FAT parition does).

So it is still possible to use the old APSD with these cooked ROMs ?

.....and thanks for clearing that up btw :)

Most ROMs do, because they're aware of the shortfalls of FroYo AP2SD.

All it requires is the EXT3 partition to be made on the SDCard and all applications get moved to the EXT3 partition automatically (as long as the application developer has specified install to internal).

I'm not sure if any applications already stored within the phone or on the FAT partition get moved automatically though.

Probably best to do a wipe after created the EXT3 partition and installing the ROM, then reinstalling the applications.
