Yep, you'd go to LauncherPro in Applications and click clear defaults.

You'll then be asked which to use when you hit Home.

You don't necessarily have to choose a default. You can leave so you choose which to use anytime you go back to the homescreens.

I like the idea of one that is near to stock as can be, but maybe with wifi N, root obviously, etc

I just updated to 2.2 and everything is working fine. Apart from the camer. If i load camera (or camcorder) it just goes straight back to the home screen but it still seems to be running (press home key down) yet if i select it running it again just goes back to the home screen
