*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Yes EXT3 only but you would have to do a full wipe anyway because that's a major ROM change so backup SD contents and restore after repartitioning it and EXT2>3 upgrading in Recovery.

right hopefully someone looks at this and replies:

why the hell is my music pausing briefly every 30seconds or so under my new 2.2 rom? something must not be quite right here. (running RoufianosV4)

also bc of this im thinking of switching roms, can any one link/recommend me a 2.2 rom with sense thats as stock as can be - oh and that works as well.

AdamG's Sense stock ROM is quite...well stock - LeeDroid is too but it has tweaks and mods (for the good).

Skipping could be a random issue, did you wipe data/cache/dalvik and are you using an EXT?

I've been using Pinky Desire for a couple of days with no issues. Almost stock, with a couple of enhancements.

Khaaan! recommends Leedroid.

Ive just installed it myself and just installing apps/setting it up now.

Ive not had the music problem so im guessing it is a ROM problem?

I truly prefer non Sense ROMs but I just like the simplicity of the neater touches in a Sense ROM :p (dialler, contacts, browser tweaks and so on).

I dislike non-sense ROMs, not keen on the darker feel of everything - especially the contacts.

6hours reading now and still at 95% at work!

The HTC apps are not removed no but you shouldn't have to worry about them if you're using an EXT partition as space is only limited to your EXT3/4 size.

I just hide unwanted stock apps via LauncherPro so they are out of sight and out of mind.

Battery sounds too good to be true... Be interested to see how it pans out as I am expecting it to dive sharply at some point Robbie.

Can anyone tell me where I go to upgrade the ext to ext3 or ext4 as I can't see the option

There are no issues wellibob.
Install v27 of HTC_IME hi mod 2.2 version.

I'll monitor my battery throughout the day and report the % when I get home from work as I will be youtubing at lunch etc. It's entirely likely it will go down a fair bit as it gets used but the idle battery usage is superb because with OpenDesire and other ROMs I was getting high drain even at idle over night (like 16% !).

EXT upgrade is done from recovery but you need to be using AmonRA's recovery. I've permanently flash R5 of it.
