the launcher pro icons are the standard ones that come with it, the camera one and the folder ones are the same style (found them on the launcher pro forum, glass icons iirc)

the toggle switches are switchpro widget (no background)

I ordered mine 7th june and today finally received a message that my packet has been sent. yay, finally.
Gonna go till next week though before I get my hands on it.. weekend..

Thanks for the apps recommendations, Smooth Calendar is what I was looking for, looks like the HTC one. If i'd found that earlier I probably wouldn't have bought the plus version of LP but its nice to donate I guess

That worked, does the email update itself? Like would I get a notification when I get an email?

So far I have to press refresh to see if I have new mail......

Although I have not registered my sim yet, I'm using it through WiFi
 
Phones been on charge all night and unplugged at 5am

It's now 6:08 on my phone and reading 87% battery :o

Ive heard that the newest Facebook update drains the battery very fast. So going to un-install it and do a 100% charge again and see how i get on.

When you say newest, do you mean the 1.3 update? Facebook released 1.3.1 this morning which should fix the battery drain issue. I don't think many people have tested it yet, but initial reports state that the issue has been fixed :)
 
Yeah i seen that update just as i was going to uninstall lol.

Still going to keep it uninstalled for now tho, then i can rule out anouther APP being the problem then try the update :)
 
New Facebook app is rather nice, was using the touch website more than the app. Hopefully this one works with notifications.... but nobody is up at this time!!
 
New LauncherPro out too and I unplugged 8 hours ago still on Facebook 1.3.0 and battery at the moment reads 89% so not as bad a drain as other people but I have just this minute updated to 1.3.1 :p

The swipe gesture actions are amazing, now I can launch call history from the phone docklet icon without having to waste space by having a call history icon - one icon serves 2 purposes :D

installed leedroid last night - go to say its better then the bug ridden Roufianos. and my music doesnt skip anymore so it must have been that rom!

one problem i do have is that when installing 60% of apps on the marketplace the desire reboots, i gess this is bc i dont have ext3 partitioned, but why is that? surely it shouldnt make the system crash!!!!

Just to add im running Leedroid too, and like you don't have a ext3 partition (Altho i will when 1.8 is out) and ive never had my desire reboot?

All apps download/install fine :confused: did you do a full wipe before installing? Ive heard doing a full wipe, installing rom and then doing a full wipe again sorts a lot of things (I do this every time i install a new ROM now)
 
Just got a new Desire from O2 as a replacement (although they haven't contactedme at all or said how they will pick up the old one....)

Few differences. The outer 'purple' coloured surround is a bit darker,so more brown than pink. Has Hboot version 0.83.0001.

Other than that, it's the same. No sign of 2.2.
 
New Launcher Pro is out and I'm loving the resize widget feature. Allows you to resize ANY widget giving even more screen estate!!
 
Is there an setting to enable Data so that I can browse the internet without having to use WiFi?

Also where can I download apps on the phone? Is it the Orange "App Shop" thing?
