Right you clever buggers, help me out here.

I've got Shootme installed which has obviously installed on my ext partition, trouble is, all the screenshots I take are on the ext partition too and I can't access them .. is there any way of getting round this?

Well I'm still waiting for the 2.2 OTA update to be offered :(

Read somewhere that HTC had suspended deployment of 2.2 but haven't seen any corroboration of this.

On the EXT Partition ? I don't think so :/

Should be in a folder named ShootMe on the FAT partition.

That's what I thought but after installing it, allowing it superuser perms and actually taking several screenshots, there was no ShootMe folder on the FAT partition, BUTBUT read the comments on the market now and sometimes you're phone needs a reboot for it to start showing, seems ok now.

As you were!

Why do ROM makers insist on putting market apps in system/apps where there can be problems updating them.... Why not put them in data/apps ??

Cant update Titanium Backup on LeeDroid 1.7b :(

Same problem with ROM Manager but seeing as I just Revoked my phone, I wont need this no more...

still unable to root, cant get my desire to even screen shot, so obv the drivers arent working properly :/

Can someone talk me through pushing via ADB?

I've never done it before.

It's to install this mod:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705967

1) you need htc sync installed and android sdk
2) phone needs to be in usb mode and dev mode.
3) cmd prompt cd.. cd.. (goes back to drive source)
4) cd android-sdk-windows (go to ur android sdk folder - this may be diff)
5) cd tools (go to tools folder)
6) enter adb commands
such as:
adb shell (to exit adb shell type exit)
adb install -l <filename> (install stuff)

hope that helps.

pushing is like installing just more forceful!

How flaky has the app store been since last update?

Also battery seems to be made of cheese.
Looking to ROOT and then install OD or LeeDroid tomorrow.

In other news, had a trip down south and I really put all my eggs in one basket by taking this with me, paid off big style. GPS worked excellently even without post code or even an address! Email on the go meant I could keep up to date with work and also facebook and twitter (as any other phone would do) worked flawlessly.
Needless to say I'm very happy.

One point that would make it even better if the Nav app had a current speed and allowed you to import a camera database.
