1) you need htc sync installed and android sdk
2) phone needs to be in usb mode and dev mode.
3) cmd prompt cd.. cd.. (goes back to drive source)
4) cd android-sdk-windows (go to ur android sdk folder - this may be diff)
5) cd tools (go to tools folder)
6) enter adb commands
such as:
adb shell (to exit adb shell type exit)
adb install -l <filename> (install stuff)

hope that helps.

pushing is like installing just more forceful!

Thanks. :)

Just installed the LeeDroid rom. The time on my yr.no widget is correct, where as the time on the notification bar is an hour behind..

Did a full wipe, is there a fix? :(

Right 1.8 is now installed.

Whats the best way to get EXT3? Do i need unrevoked recovery?

Im on a works PC so pretty limited in what i can download/use (But would like to get it done now so i can start installing stuff :))

I dont like LeeDroid much TBH. He adds way too much bumph for me, some of which (such as Titanium Backup etc) cannot be updated via market as he puts it in the system/apps folder.

I see NextSense 4.0 is out so will get this. Really liked 3.2 and this has the Hotspot fix.

I DO like the R2D2 boot animation on LeeDroid tho so will see if I can copy this over :D

Oh ****!

Just borked my phone lol (Well not completely)

So i installed the new Leedroid ROM, and downloaded the flashable zip super circle batter mod, so went back into recovery and installed that.

After installing i formatted the SD card, did a full wipe and rebooted.

Now i get a constant reboot on the android boot logo thing.

Was not using unrevoked and no longer have the update.zip on my SD card :( and no card reader, grrrrr.

Anyone know how i can get onto the SD card another way? I was going to use the recovery-windows.bat way. BUT when i open CMD promt at work i get the command promt has been disabled by your administrator :(

There must be anouther way? Still got 9 hours left at work, so don't want to have to wait till i get home :(

Right well i downloaded unrevoked3, installed all the drivers (Lets hope work don't find out :p)

Ran unrevoked but you need to be in USB debugging mode :( And as far as i know you cannot do this from the bootloader?

Anyone else getting a Force Close in the Google Mail app if you look at the 'All Mail' label?

I did a factory reset but no joy. I am on the stock Vodafone 2.1 update 1 ROM.

The exact error is:

Sorry!
The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Force Close

Right, this is annoying me now, can anyone help with this:
Cant use the HTC Music app as it doesnt work with Navigation anymore.
Tried MixZing, but that doesnt either load album art itself like it says it does, nor read the art thats already there.
Then tried DoubleTwist, and that displays the wrong album art!!!!!

Obviously, i'd be happy to get the HTC Music one working again with Navigation, but i cant see anything beyond a few forums posts around the net saying 'yeah we have the problem too'. :(

Somebody must have SOME idea on this?

NVM sorted now thanks to Lee (leedroid)

Just used windows-recovery to push the flashable recovery to the phone via a bat file, mounted the SD card, copied over the ROM and away i went :)

Right well ive managed to get cmd working (Just opend command.com instead, silly tech admins)

but now what? =\

You formatted the SD card?

Schoolboy error LOL.

You can boot into recovery via unrevoked then enable USB drive mode.

Better yet you should have flashed R5 ArmonRA permanent recovery long ago bypassing the need for an update.zip like I've been saying every now and then!

As for bundled LeeDroid apps, you can update them. Install Chrome2Phone and visit the developers site on your PC and right click > Send to Phone the APK link, it downloads via webkit and you can update the apps that way. It tales seconds.... I've just done this with Titanium Backup.
