Are either of these based on the final Froyo code are are they still from the ripped versions?

Im quite settled on Leedroid now but loved Defrost 2.5a

Dont want to go back if i will lose features

I'm just too accustomed to HTC's Phone and Contacts apps and since I use Launcher Pro anyway the other stuff just doesn't bother me :p

Both AOSP as far as i know and Really, I don't know a lot :)

They are both vanilla Android - Non sense ROM's mate.

I think the FM radio is the only 'feature' missing, Apart from the senseUI.

I may be corrected though :D
 
Does sending MMS work for anyone using Handcent? Im on Vodafone btw.

I've had this problem with Pays Sparta and OpenDesire.
 
MMS/SMS both work on those ROMs, I've used both ROMs and no issues. Your APN settings must have been incorrect for MMS to fail!
 
Khaaan, I already tried changing the APN settings by restoring them with your Vodafone UK.xml file you uploaded in an earlier post.

weird... I wonder if I can receive them...

As for the other thing - I am using NextSense 5.1 and it kicks ass. Moderate use and I got **48 hours out of this baby and its still quick and finished nice

** I have setup SetCPU profiles as following -

Charging - Priority 100, 998 Max 245 Min
Screen Off - Priority 90, 245 Max 245 Min
Battery <25% - Priority 75, 499 Max 245 Min
Battery <50% - Priority 50, 768 Max 245 Min

This seems to work well. Reduces the CPU speed as battery drops and slows it right down when screen is off when its not really being used.
 
Updating, I'll try your SetCPU settings Richie and see what difference it makes to my battery too ta!

I'm also not using SD-EXT any more, going to use FroYo A2SD instead.

The only problem I have is that I can't seem to find away to add more than 1 item to an mms... If I use the standard messaging app then it let's me add a new page to the mms but Handcent seems to only allow 1 page.


Kahn - why are you changing to froyo apps2sd? Won't you run out of room as not many apps use this facility.

I loved defrost 2.5a, 2.6 is junk though, switched over to OD 3.1, seems much better.

Edit: actually no, it doesn't .. like all the other OD's I've got serious battery drain :( time to Nandroid back to Defrost 2.5

DF 2.6 is great for me, fixed all the bugs I had in 2.5a. Just need supercircle for 2.6 now as the 2.5a one makes the desire freeze on bootup.
