have to admit its pretty good so far for me Ive finally found out the problems i was having with my parrot handsfree not syncing the contacts, was something to do with photos attached to the contacts, which is a shame but I can live without that until (if they ever do) parrot release a new firmware

I may be having a slow moment here, but is it based on Sense, or just on a stock ROM?

Has anyone had to send their Desire back to Orange due to dust under the screen?

I noticed a few specks a month or so ago, but it's getting progressively worse (left side, about 15mm below the volume rocker). There is now a significant amount there, but my local Orange shop have simply told me to call CS and speak to them - very helpful

It's not really noticeable during normal use, but shows up a lot when watching video

i had standard, going 3d now will post screenies in a min but tbh, it's a bit ugly battstats on the homescreen makes me wet

Could APN settings be a result of me having next to no reception? I can't figure it out, i've flashed every rom on here, every radio i could find. I've un rooted yet reception drops out and is basically non existent.

Could anyone on Vodafone post up their full APN settings they have for everything so i can try, cheers.

If not i'm going to just send it back, because it randomly reboots all the time to so im guessing its developed some faults.

Does anyone know of a way to repeat notification sounds? It's important I pick up emails on my phone but if I miss the notification then I have to check my phone, which isn't easy when your sleeping.

I have an unbranded Desire from Mobile Phones Direct, used on T-Mobile. I understand I should get 2.2 OTA now.

The only update available to me is 1.21.405.2 at 27Mb, which apparently upgrades my bootloader to 0.8. Why can't I see the FroYo upgrade, and am I just better off using a custom Sense ROM based on FroYo - if so, are there any problems with the 0.8 bootloader?

maybe you have to update to that first, then you will be offered Froyo??

i think 405 is the generic version i flashed to to get froyo ota. at work atm so i cant check.

Maybe it's an Orange thing since it's a exclusive to them.

The 2 Desires I have had had no issues neither does my dad's.
