I'd love to root my One S, the thing that puts me off is if something happened to it which meant I couldn't restore it before sending it off for repair, that would be the end of my warranty. Expensive gamble to take in my eyes.
Dammit Nexus, your posts always make me want upgrades NOW!
Er, with USB otg does that mean we can plug in drives? I thought the One S couldn't power them?
USB OTG works on AOKP without a power source.
What about a development version of Android 4.1?
For our developer community, we plan to make generic development ROMs of Jelly Bean available for both the HTC One X and HTC One S. As soon as the ROMs are ready, they will be posted to our HTCdev site (www.htcdev.com). We strongly recommend customers take the time to understand the limitations of the development software along with the terms and conditions on the site before downloading to their device.
