*** The official HTC One S thread ***

S Club 7.

:o

There probably are only about 7 S owners (including me) now............ :p :o

Cheers Mate, much appreciated. I've enjoyed my time here on this thread as there's been a really healthy and informative discussion on it.

Will check in from time to time just to see what's going on..

Carry on with the quality posts! :)

Thanks :)

Will have to post some more photos/videos sometime soon

That's it...my time with the One S has sadly come to an abrupt end. Due to unforeseen circumstances which needed extra cash I've had to part with with my beloved One S. :(

It was a choice between the One S and Galaxy S3 and the latter won out.

I'll be sad to see the phone go as it really is an amazing phone and has so much going for it.

All you peeps out there with the One S (S4) version enjoy using the best 4.3 inch phone out there

I'm intrigued as to why you kept the S3 over the One S?

IIRC the only reason he went with the GS 3 was due to storage as he has a long commute to work every day via a bus/train, thus needed more storage for films/tv shows, games, music etc.

So understandable his choice really :)

2 weeks holiday soon so hopefully should be able to take a ton of pics/vids and get some good film/music use out of it :D

1 week in the lakes - photos ahoy
1 week in france - day and a half driving each way :p

Will be taking a laptop and external HDD anyway so storage wont be a problem.

Ah, the screen will be a bonus on top of that as well then (for those uses).

Indeed!

Look forward to seeing the pics/videos :)

My brothers had enough of his Talkmobile reception - so he's reverted back to his Virgin sim - I'm taking his TM sim for the mega HSPA speeds :D. Now looking for a MIFI thingy :D

The Anandtech review! About time :D http://www.anandtech.com/show/5868/htc-one-s-review-international-and-tmobile

SGS3 obviously includes the bigger and better display, but HTC feels like it holds the upper hand in camera and construction. The rest is just personal preference.
The One S has an absolutely phenomenal in-hand feel thanks to the combination of both that metal construction, and the center taper. Even in the supplied case, the device sort of fades away in the pocket in a way that is starting to become depressingly uncommon as OEMs push into much larger display sizes and form factors.

Couldn't agree more! A 60-65mm wide 16:9 phone hits the sweet spot of screen size, portability and usability.

@Sarge - how unlimited is the TM allowance? Have you been hammering it?:D

Feel free to completely hammer it, TM don't even have a written FUP for unlimited contracts yet.
I don't have good enough coverage to make use of it yet, 3G is just too unreliable in buildings :( The Vodafone/o2 mast share can't come soon enough! (The Everything Everywhere/Three union is owning them for coverage atm)
