Completely in love with my One. Love the design and as mentioned earlier I never thought the speakers were the part of Uni body design anyway so I can't fault my One.

Coming from a N4 the sunlight legibility of the One is absolutely amazing!

Interesting, GSMarena have bumped One's review to the top of their homepage maybe they are keeping an eye on this forum :p
 
Really impressed with standby battery performance, did some of those tips but left both wifi and 3G on and it's at 83% after 24hrs. I've only briefly used it I'm that time but that's way better than th iPhone 4S was :)
 
Got my One on a few days ago. Tiny gap on top left side and tiny bit of overhang on the top speaker section but apart from that it's perfect. Screen is nice and flush.

Does anyone have the Onavo Extend app and know how to get rid of the key symbol? I'm thinking I'm mostly connected to wife anyway so it's probably not worth having the app.

You can view data usage and limit it in settings anyway, not as good as Onavo but good enough to manage tbh
 
What cases and screen protectors are people using?

I know its a shame to cover up such a nice looking phone, but I would rather not drop it on my commute. Or it fall down the side when I get in my car (my 3gs is banged up from this fall)

I was all for the double dip case, but a lot of owners reviews I have now read say the closing of the front often falls open and it does not fit the device snuggly.

Also considering a decent screen protector instead of my usual fleabay special.

I went for the CaseMate barely there case. Nice and compact, and very snug, so doesn't add much bulk.

I did Speedtest 11 times in about a 20 minute period on 4G the other day. Just seeing what speeds I could get out of the One.

It used 1Gb of my data allowance lol!
 
Called P4U today to DSR the one - they said I could exchange it in-store if I wished. Took them up on this, went to the store who showed me 3 HTC One's in black all with a gap either at the top speaker grille, bottom speaker grille or both :(

I only found this out to my horror yesterday. Didn't realise it used so much data for each run!

the grills arent part of the unibody design, they are stuck on, most of them will have gaps
 
Got a nice few scratches on the back of my One now. My 3 year old picked it up and pushed it across the floor inside. We'd been out in the garden and I guess there was a bit of grit or something on the wooden floor. Not quite One S cheese quality but something to watch, I'd probably buy the flip case had it been my own phone and I've never bought a case before.
 
A few pics i took yesterday, one thing I have noticed with mine though is a small black circle near the top of pictures/video when i take them, it doesn't really bother me but its noticeable in the second one.
