Where is the best place to buy the One Sim free price wise? I see o2 do it on their upgrade plan but I ideally want to stick with Tesco Mobile!

Love this phone. So glad I exchanged my s4 for it!

Only thing I'm not so impressed with so far is battery life. Does it start to get better after the first few charges?

I'm finding the battery life to be quite decent, I get a full day out of it. My Note 2 would have around 40% left by the evening when I put it on charge, this has around 10-20%. As long as I get a full day from it, I can't complain.

can get it from a ocuk competitor beginning with "d" and ending with a "s" ;) for £500, however, it says "ordered upon request", only other places are the likes of amazon and handtec but it costs about £30-50 more

Personally I would wait for a bit till more stock becomes available and prices should drop a bit further down.

I bought mine from P4U @ £489 - wandered into their store @ Westfield a couple of weeks back, half expecting to be told 'no chance', but they said 'sure - which colour?' !

Had a play around with the cameras on 4 phones together. Just 4 quick shots so you can see the difference.

htc one
iphone 5
nokia 920
nexus 4

They all get the colours slightly wrong but the htc one and 920 are probably the closest. Htc One is wider which can be really handy. 920 and iphone have way more res for zooming in but the picture coming out the htc one is very sharp for it's MP count.

Thats exactly what I did. Arrived next day.

Still can't beleive just how much I like this phone.

Its the best phone I have ever used and I have been selling them for 16 years.

Brings me onto the question of why don't you own one yet? ;)

For me, it isn't worth £400 to come from the one S (one S sells for **** all these days) and plus there are a few things that irritate me i.e. the button/logo arrangement :o (and due to that, the silly 3 dot menu on the bottom), not as nice of a design as the S (imo) and then not much point till we see what the X or whatever phones are like and then the HTC one mini could tempt me if the price is right :p

Only things that I really want from the one are the speakers, camera "overall" and bigger/higher res. screen.

I have to agree with the others ^^ for me, the HO is the very best phone I have ever owned, and this is against a history of owned mobiles stretching back to 1992

Why is it the best phone? I'll been designing mobile phones for 5 years and I wouldn't say its the best phone.

Superior build quality to other Android smartphones and arguably any other eco system.
Fast and power efficient CPU/GPU choice.
2Gb RAM.
32Gb minimum storage.
1080P LCD Screen.
Stereo speakers with excellent sound quality and loudness.
Smooth UI at 1080p.
Innovative camera more suited to a smartphone.
TV remote capabilities with good range.

Removable battery and expanded storage are not a problem for me. I am always near a charger either in the office, home or car. I don't need hundreds of hours of music/movies with me so 32Gb will do fine thanks.

What phone have you been designing? I hope you take a leaf out of the One's book.
