***The Official HTC One Thread***

Ignoring Android system for a second those stats don't look too bad.

Download GSAM battery monitor off of the appstore (and better battery stats) then you can get a detailed run down of what's using your battery. The battery monitor built into sense doesn't really give you enough info.

I'm also not convinced the in built battery monitor is all that accurate.

Has anyone bought a HTC One from Amazon in the last week? Some people who purchased them before the turn of the month received Vodafone branded handsets that had been opened before.

Got mine today, box all sealed up, running 4.2.2, have an evening of playing and setting up. Takes a little getting used to but love the form factor - even coming from a NOTE2; sounds is great really tempted to get spotify premium for this as I have unlimited data on three. I can't seem to find a my files icon - but haven't plugged into PC yet - want to download some wallpapers and contacts pictures but not sure where they go...really pleased with the purchase 438 on Amazone, 245 return for my note2 so don't feel so guilty :)

I don't know how reliable this link is, but it might help.

Thanks, but the link to the actual file fails for me. I get a redirect to the ROMS for AT&T & Sprint.

From what I've seen, flashing the 1.28 RUU and then let it naturally OTA update to 2.24 is probably the best way.

That's what I've been doing, Even if I relock the bootloader, I still get an error later in the process. I think it may be related to me being on HBOOT 1.54

Just an update, The 1 amp car charger was unable to keep up when Gps, Bluetooth and Data were on in the car.

even though HTC One under normal conditions draws only 1 amp current from a higher rated charger using a 2amp car charger allowed the charger to maintain current under load, worked perfect.

Long story short, Get a 1.5amp+ car charger if you intend to use it under heavy load in car (Gps etc)

+1. I bought a 2a charger and it allows the phone very slowly charge when used as a GPS.

Has anyone had a go with the One Mini? It's coming up to upgrade time, I have a Sensation and it's fine really, I do want a One but its a bit pricy right now. The One Mini seems like a good choice for me but I'm worried about 1GB RAM.

It's fine for me, does other devices connect to the wifi fine and access the internet? Check your router settings?
