to be honest I don't use the functionality you're talking about with any of my apple stuff so I don't come across the issue, I had wrongly assumed you were one of these people that goes on about itunes "deleting all my music" or being "a resources hog" etc etc.. there really is some hysterical nonsense written about it.

That all seems very reasonable if you must view stuff on an ipad.

I'm considering going fully mac at home because I have to endure a macbook pro for work but I don't find much of what OSX does intuitive to be honest. Maybe It's the "forever up until last year" timespan with windows that makes it intuitive to me :)

Thankfully I just miss the stuff those people write. As a whole, iTunes is the best IMO.

But, this is the HTC One thread!

So, to help get this back on track, still waiting on HTC to respond to my ticket. Not even an email confirmation either. Do they do that? Or have I made a spelling mistake? (did double check it, and sure it was right, just doubting myself)
 
just checked the status of my repair and apparently its been shipped back today, will see if they have actually done anything to it, my guess is they will have just wiped it.....
 
Still nothing off HTC!?

How long did it take for them to respond to a repair from anyone else? Just having no phone is starting to do my head in :p

+ Don't want to ring them, as I can't be bothered with the "try this, try that" rubbish.

I didn't get a response, I checked the online tracker and shows it was dispatched back to me yesterday
 
having said that I think it was just the booking of the dispatch as ups aren't showing anything yet :( Posted the iphone 4s I was using off today now im stuck with a Samsung galaxy ace, that's even worse than the iphone :)
 
I've got the same thing with my return from HTC... marked as dispatched, but the UPS website says they're still awaiting the parcel. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be here!
 
I mean the beginning of the whole process :p

I've just re-submitted another. I probably pressed reset the first time. Not all there this week unfortunately.

Mines now working so due for delivery tomorrow, was collected last Thursday so not a bad turn around all said and done, just hope its fixed.....

And all they have apparently done (just checked on live chat) is replace the sim tray.....

Still nothing from HTC. Gave them a ring, but they're "very busy".

So. I hit it with my Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD. The red LED blinked, so I hit it with this in the terminal. After the first line, it was the charging red led. I turned it off, and switched it back on. Currently working fine, but has 2% charge :p

Mine was one of the cheap silicon ones from the 'rainforest'. Does the job well.

Still no contact from HTC. Not impressed.
