You'll have to try one. I have no problems with the Galaxy Nexus and the One X is smaller.

Remember it's thinner as well which can help.

I have a DHD in a case but I think I'll go commando on the One X since it's polycarb with that matte back. I found with the DHD that because it was aluminium and slippery I was more prone to juggling with it.

The One X also has gorilla glass, this is the one phone I don't think I'll be bothering with a case on. I usualy get a case mate barely there, however it was a very poor fit on my GN.

Gorilla glass is great for scratches but not for drops from a height. Plastic still wins there since it will flex. GG is by it's very nature inflexible and so will more likely shatter from a similar drop to a phone with plastic.

The case I have is just for the back to give my DHD some grip which I think shouldn't be an issue on the One X.

Very true, I didn't think of it that way.

I suppose I was just thinking of it comparing my Desire to my GN, I've been over the moon with the screen on the Desire, it's nice to have a screen you don't need to put a screen protector on.
I noticed a couple of light scratches on the GN screen within two week :(

As I've now got the One X on order I'm tied between selling the Desire or the GN, strange thing is I've been looking on the well know auction site and there don't seem to be many GN's for sale, I thought there might have been a few by now as it's been out for a while.
 
My 24 month T-Mo contract is due to end August 4th - does anyone know if they do an early upgrade scheme? Only £12.50 a month with a Huawei Pulse (which I soon replaced with a Nexus S!).

You can upgrade a month before contract ends. If you sign up for their online service it tells you your early upgrade date. I can upgrade in April with contract ending may. Looks like a one x is on the cards as s3 unlikely to come out until later in the year.

You used to be able to upgrade 3 months before, I think that's changed now though but they can (if you can persuade them) upgrade you at anytime and they just add the new term onto the remainder of your existing deal.

I'm sure if you phoned them and requested your pac, saying you can't wait until August to get the One X then they'll sort something out for you.
