*** The official HTC One X thread ***

Does this sound good?

My contract ends at the end of the month, Quidco £81.82 cash for all SIM 600 12 months 1GB internet on three, buy the One s outright, tempted for the one X but I dont think It suits my needs. Sell my desire S for £100. £440 after 12 months.

My contract is up for renewal tomorrow (ends April 20th) so I'll give t-mobile a call and see what they say about the One X. Will report back :)

Go into chitter chatter or cpw to get your upgrade - you will get the same or better deal with the added bonus of an unlocked/unbranded phone for quicker updates and no telco bloatware.

you don't have to be with them - they're just a 3rd party that call t-mobile on your behalf to get the deal. I did my last t-mobile upgrade this way.

Just call t-mobile direct yourself to see the available deals - then go into cpw or chitter chatter and say your due an upgrade then go from there and you should see that you get the same deal or better but with an unlocked handset.

I'm eligible for an upgrade with Three on the 13th April however it looks like One X will be comparable in pricing to an iPhone contract which will be too expensive for me. I'm currently paying £20 a month with my HTC Desire. I'm hoping there will be some S2 deals around this time on 12 or 18 months contracts.

Yeah, that's what they say now. Mention that you're thinking about leaving and then see what they offer you :p

Going to be switching back to Android very soon. I was going to go with the Nexus but with the One X release so close I think I will hold on. The only thing I worry about with HTC is how quickly they drop official support. I assume there is no road map yet for OS releases but does anyone know how far they are taking the Sensation for example? Is it getting ICS?

The Sensation is getting ICS and very soon too i believe.

Spoke to someone at T-Mobile on the "High Value team" who said that they don't have any details for it yet so can't make me any deals. The phone is out in 15 days and they aren't taking orders for it? Is that normal?

Is this phone out? Someone I know had a phone very similar looking to this one but said it only has 8GB memory. The screen on it was super sharp and even more impressive than my iPhone if I'm being honest. However this is listed as 32GB, any idea what it might be?

Is there not much interest for this phone on here?

Going to give this phone a shot, got it on pre order, then will wait for the SGS3 and see if that is any better. Always been a HTC lad at heart loved my previous DHD.
