*** The official HTC One X thread ***

I see.

I think its LTE/4G or what ever only. But that wasn't the point.

Point was Tegra 3 was used in the flagship - not because it was the faster chip (which it isn't) - but because it was more marketable and probably cheaper.

I'm thinking of trying Android REvolution HD, but haven't unlocked my bootloader yet. When unlocking, what exactly gets wiped from my phone?? Don't want to have to reinstall all my apps!

Where was that?

I bagged one from AVForums for £340, white, unbranded, new in box (although opened/powered on/messed with for a few mins)..

I knew I should have waited..

It was through an affiliate discount I'm afraid.

Is it me or is the HTC One XL an ideal blend of the One S and X? From what I've read it has the One X screen, the One S CPU and LTE/4G - but with 16MB as opposed to the One X's 32 Mb.

Yep, actually the new EVO is the one to get. (it adds a micro SD card slot and 2000mAh battery to the XL)

I wouldn't feel too hard done by with the international version though.

I just wish HTC would hurry up and release the source kernel so we can see how much power is needed for 2.5Ghz :p (should still be less than stock tegra 3)

It is, but still not seen it on my O2 phone....

Apparently, bug fixes and power profile updates etc

Should improve battery life
