*** The official HTC One X thread ***

They did but honestly and maybe my eyes are deceiving me but the iphone4 screen i find is so much sharper than the One X especially in some apps ie temple run for instance...it looks washed out and blocky on the One X compared to the pin sharpness of the iphone4...could be that the iphone4 screen is smaller therefore better looking but i do prefer the larger screen of the One X, just find a lot of the apps i have downloaded just dont look all that great on the screen.

The dpi of the One X is more then enough that in theory everything should look razor sharp..

However, what resolution ,and therefore, what dpi any games/apps are natively rendered in can negate it all..

The difference in DPI is marginal (330 vs 316 in favour of the iPhone) so it's not the screen tech..

I think the iPhone screen is still ever so slightly better, but it's almost negligible.

The differences are likely due to the apps themselves rather than the screen, iOS ones are usually better optimised and will be set up better for the device.

Its most likely because the game is stretched and not native 720p.

This is what i was thinking as well that maybe the apps arent optimised yet for the One X screen...hopefully they can fix that because outside the apps, the screen on the One X is very nice to look at ie in Sense its super sharp and just slightly behind the iphone4 as you rightly said.

Its worth the wait;).

I guess, tbh its not too bad, my contract handset was a desire which I was so bored off, my son thankfully poured his juice over it which meant a phone call to Orange and get a replacement sent out :) flogged that £125 and got a sensation for 150 which im using now, so I can hold on for a while longer :) the wife is wanting the sensation however

You're getting another one then?

yeah weight up pros and cons and the one x is just great looking , going for the note would have been silly ie older tech etc , and after seeing the s3 it looks horrible, sorry it does. All and All the one x has to be the best phone atm

Is anyone using one of these with corporate exchange push email set up? If so i'm interested to hear your thoughts on battery life, what are you getting on a typical day?

I can pick one of these up through work sim free for £120 but If its not going to get me through a day with my email being pushed to it then its a no.

I was waiting to see what the GS3 was about but to be honest I much prefer the look of the One X

Do you know the worst thing about the One X?

The size of the bloody charging cable they give you! It's a complete joke!!

So i was getting bloody awful battery life for a while, I had cerburus installed, Uninstalled 2 days ago and id say my battery is much much better now.

Also using Android Revolution HD with the stripped Sense using Apex, Battery is very good now
