I'm allowed to upgrade my phone 3 months early on the 8th, just had a quick look at oranges website, one x is out of stock
No your not anymore. I also was due one on 17th APril but as of 1st May Orange has changed all contracts to 45 days so I now have an upgrade date of 2nd June.
If I had upgraded in the last two weeks I would have been fine. I wait for the S3 to be launched and decide the One X is for me and ring them up last night and get told I can;t upgrade yet..............

Business account with Voda and upgrading from a Desire. Was waiting for some S3 news but am glad I went straight to the One X now. Managed to get myself a 12M contract on 41 a month and nothing up front - result!
So in 12 Months time I can get the next greatest Android

Beautiful Widgets doesn't seem to play nice with ics either.

No one in UK has at minute, the 3 people in Latvia who've got this phone have had their's for nearly a week, so it's all good.
...now wonder how long we will wait for the 1.29 update.
Try bsplayer (maybe you have). It should just play anything with no issues at all.
mx player seems to play most stuff i throw at it.
I've got a minor bugbear - when listening to music with poweramp (might be the same with stock player) and I get an email/text, the notification sound plays and takes the eq processing away from the music (making it sound horrible), then it kicks back in when the notification is finished.
Anyone else notice this?

Anyone have opinions of chitterchatter, was on their live chat and guy asked me for my password for 'my tmobile' to check if i was eligble for upgrade which just flagged warnings for me lol.

They are the real deal but shouldn't be asking you for your password. Don't give that out.
If you get a longer usb cable make sure its a good branded one.... bought a cheap no named 3m one off ebay and its slower to charge with it than a 2m belkin usb cable.... Although both not as quick as the original htc cable supplied..... Bought the belkin one off the auction site for about £4.50 delivered.

Got a dispatch note today so annoyingly with the bh weekend will probably get it towards the end of next week
Let me know how it works and importantly- does the wifi still work when it's in streaming mode? Would like to use it at the link between my media server and TV rather than booting up a PC.

Ok ill try to stream from my PC to phone to the TV and see how it goes. It works better than expected TBH, youtube videos and iplayer look excellent as does the web browser. Their is some lag, for example playing angry birds doesnt always works as smoothly as it would on the screen. It comes with a super long USB lead and a power plug, but i found plugging it in to my TVs USB works fine.
Picked up my second one tonight. Swapped the original because of the flickering screen.
So far I havent been getting on with android so going to give this another chance. I've bought a 1000ma charger too so hopefully my battery issues will be thing of the past.
