sorry bud i dont have anything all i know is that it was bought and paid for by a company in the uk and is trading though them now. read that on a news website somewhere.

before it was the uk distribution for a large taiwan company making medical scanners and displays as well as military hardware

and i can confirm when reading that news site they wont be including any of the screens you and me bought in their warranty...
they informed that they dont have any parts for the older models as all the new range are completely different part numbers and they dont carry spares for older models.

so yours and mine warranty are now void m8...im sure ocuk will back up my info.

back to phones what one are you looking at?

Huawei Ascend D quad XL (2nd choice) - as its not out till june/july in uk design may change...its previewed to be much more powerful (worlds fastes mobil cpu) and 3o% better battery life than the samsung galaxy 3..

S3 (going to see it next week to see how this this casing looks in the hand before i pass judgment but i have an issue with that menu button its position would drive me nuts its not centre like the note :D osd i think lol )

Bugger! Well once this screen starts to age too much I guess it's only fit to be a pretty aluminium shelf item :(
 
I'm posting on behalf of a friend who has a One X, anyone know why an earth so many apps are running here? I watched him restart the phone and all of these beauties opened seemingly of their own accord, I don't have a clue what half of these even are.

 
Mates just dropped his on the stairs at work, no cover/case anything waist high, only 3 weeks old

robbo what phones have you experience with or owned this 8 months?

only ask as you seem quite knowledgable...
was wondering if youve seen the razzor maxx what the comparrison is to say the one x as im stuck between the 2 now....after seeing both...razzors just as good on looks i think and soon to be ice cream updated.

And a One X now! I still have most of them too.

Haven't had a Maxx though, however, the only thing really good about it is the battery life, everything else isn't great.

this is my first new phone in a very long time good 8 years :D (sad i know)

liking the look of the new phones/screens like the one x...

was even tempted to wait for the note 2 but thats now 10.1inch and is too big now to use as a phone and mobile entertainment device..

thanks for the info on the maxx maybe theyll bring a newer revised model out?
its got a really nice look with the kevlar and rubber feel scratch resistant surround.

They may do, Motorola haven't released anything for a while so they could launch something in the next couple of months. I'm just guessing though really.

The Note 2 isn't 10.1 inch, you're just thinking of the Note tablet version. The successor to the Galaxy Note hasn't been announced yet.

ICS is literally done and dusted for the Note - it's released in Germany etc.

Either is better - depends on preference - the HOX is no more powerful than the Note. The Note has an equally impressive screen and the S-Pen to boot. 2500MAH battery too and better video recording plus sd slot.

oh ok i thought the note tablet was the note 2 :D well thats good news but then nobody knows when thats being released and i got to jump on this train a t some point :P


but end of the day id get a note over a galaxy 3 due to better looks and both have same screen type...
