My upgrade time is in July so I'm looking at possible phones now
It seems it is only between the One X and SGIII?
Such a pity as I prefer HTC phones due to Sense and the metal cases which the One X now doesn't have. Also what about faults/lockups with the phone when you need to remove the battery?
Will there be anything better from HTC come July?

Pretty much.
They still make the best designed Android phones going, it's not metal but it looks and feels good. Lockups aren't an issue as a 10 second long press of the power button simulates a battery pull.
I very much doubt it.

Isnt there the new lg phone out being announced next month? sure it states it has very much the same hardware spec as the one x?

also i found out the samsung3 also has a polycarbonate casing not a cheaper plastic as i thought but not as nice as the one x
i just think htc have better design teams.will have to see how it feels in the flesh
although im put off by tyhe cost of the sg3 too i know its brand new but still approx £600 16gb sim free...i mean hc one x you can pick up after one month release sim free for £350-450 maybe cheaper if you know where.
of course im new so maybe niave
when it come to phones.oh and mrk hows you hazro screen

the end of my contract is getting closer and closer and i still cant make up mind which one i prefer, this or the S3
Similar position for me. Leaning towards the SIII purely for the SD slot. Much prefer the design on this, other than that there's not that much between them really. SIII wins some benchmarks, OneX wins a few.

going to see which colour i like but still thinking the white is nicer
going to get a exomount Universal Mount ready for it ...anyone tried this mount looks good especially with the mutli suface suction pad
just ignore the item its crushing
My Exomount sucks balls, Its shaky as hell and the arms cant keep the device up, mrls home made DIY soluttion is best

The nexus one was HTC made, not Samsung.

i thought it was a weird comment saying google like plastic more when both one x and sg3 are same material but different process ending in different looks..

OT but.. Still going good I have to say, it's now my 2nd screen though as the main screen is now a Dell U2412M. I'm a bit miffed at Hazro though as nobody has gotten back to me about my enquiry on the firmware update for my screen.
The last time they did it the ROM was used up by the then latest firmware so my custom RGB values could not be set as they didn't have enough memory to work with. They said later versions might use less mem so to check back some time later.
I have a working HZ24Wi but one that can't have its RGB values adjusted and as time goes on the backlight shifts and I need to be able to change RGB values for calibration!
So yeah, if you have a contact number for someone over there then do throw it my way as the guy I had details for no longer works at Hazro
Yep the One X is slightly lighter than the SGS3 that I played with in Westfield white city and it's slightly taller when I compared both. Even my missus said the same thing that my One X was slightly lighter than the SGS3 and taller.
Unlocked my One X last night via a code, works with all networks now. Still in 2 minds about whether I should buy one and get the SGS3 and sell the One X but at least it's unlocked so if I do sell it then its no longer locked to tmo.
